I wanted to share my story to hopefully give hope to others going through the IVF journey. My partner and I have been ttc for 2.5 years now. We fell pregnant straight away, but unfortunately it was ectopic and resulted in me having my right tube removed. We haven't managed to get pregnant since so moved

Mammogram Screening
Good evening ladies, I’m just wondering if I can get your help please. We are starting IVF treatment abroad and prior to start, I must have a mammogram screening test. I’m just wondering where here in the UK I can have it done (privately unfortunately as I do not qualify for NHS yet) and how much

Vaginal Probiotics - IVF - When to take?
Just wondering if anyone would have any advice about when to start taking vaginal probiotics. My clinic have said nothing about it, but research seems to suggest it is a good idea? I just got my prostap injection (down-regulation) on Tuesday 5th March. I would hopefully start taking ovaleap on 19th

Clear Blue faint positive line
Hi all, My partner and I are going over an IVF treatment and today was the "test day". We have done other tests before ( not during IVF) and the tests were really easy to see as negative. Now we had this one that looks a very faint line but we are not sure. Our clinic says they think is a negative one

'Fertility Solutions' DNA testing and consultation - and Andrology solutions personal experience please
Before I have another round of IVF/ICSI I think its important to check out male factor in my husband as we have two failed rounds behind us. I have enquired about Jonathan Ramsey and no appointments for three months. The consultation plus testing is in excess of 1,800. I am looking at fertility solutions

Last cycle BFN
I'm absolutely devastated this morning, having had 5 rounds of ivf, one baby loss at 12 weeks, one missed miscarriage and a natural miscarriage a few years ago, my last frozen embryo didn't make it and I got a BFN this morning. This is me out of the journey using my own eggs, which is a loss in itself

IUI vs. IVF
Hi, Firstly let’s tell you a bit about mine and my OH’s situation. We’ve been TTC for 2 years, I’ve had an internal ultrasound, HyCoSy - all fine and clear. My AMH is normal and I have regular periods. My OH’s results are also all normal apart from low sperm count. so we’ve been told to go for IVF

Day 5 of cycle (4 of gonadotrophinn /Gonal F). Feeling full in ovaries.
Hi all, I’m seeking some reassurance. This is my first cycle of IVF and I’m on day 5 of my cycle and day 4 of taking Gonal F. Due to begin Ganerelix tomorrow and to go for my first scan Thursday. I’m finding in the evenings I begin to feel very full and strange in my ovary’s, a bit watery perhaps.

Angry at the world today
Hello fellow warriors, I needed to post in a safe space and with people who understand. I'm feeling so angry at the world today. I really want ivf to work but some days it feels so hopeless and I'm so tired of hearing other people's baby news, especially when they already have a child and had no issues

Anyone else starting stims this week?
My cycle just started and I'm feeling pretty nervous but excited. This is the first time we've tried IVF so not sure what to expect (although I've googled A LOT so do have some expectations haha). Anyone else on similar timings?

My boss keeps talking about her pregnancy
Hello everyone, I know this is something that many of you have encountered - and I often read about it on this group. Last year I went through my first IVF, which failed. We took this route after many unsuccessful years of TTC. The IVF failure had a huge impact on me - I still don't feel recovered

**sensitive** Rainbow birth announcement
❤️🌈 Birth Announcement 🌈❤️ I thought I would do a post announcing our rainbow, as these posts really gave me hope when I felt like giving up on our IVF journey. Our beautiful rainbow baby girl (still to be named!) was born on Thursday 1st Feb on her scheduled section date at 37+5. 🌈 She had some

Is four weeks enough time to lower TSH?
My partner and I are currently going through fertility treatment, I had my TSH tested which shows my levels are slightly elevated. At 4.2. The NHS threshold for treatment is 4.9, however the fertility clinic have prescribed thyroxin (50mg) and to be retested in 4-6 weeks, to get my TSH to 2.5 or below

Possible Down's Syndrome after PGT-A testing
Hi all Looking for some advice from someone who has gone through the same or has knowledge of it. I am currently 18w5d pregnant with an IVF baby. I underwent PGT-A testing as I am 41 years old. I thought that with PGT-A testing, that all Chromosomal abnormalities would render the embryo aneuploid

I did PGT-A testing, could my unborn baby have down's syndrome?
I am currently 18 weeks 5 days pregnant following a successful IVF cycle. I undertook PGT-A testing as I am 41 years old. I got a call today from my midwife advising that my blood test has come back with a higher chance result for down's syndrome. I thought that as PGT-A testing was done and showed

IVF weight gain?
Hi,We're starting our first round of IVF soon and I'm wondering what I can expect in terms of weight gain from the treatment? I've read that it can cause weight gain. Obviously if I get pregnant that will mean weight gain, and I'm fine with that as it'll be worth it, but I'm wondering about people's
