concerned boyfriend
hi all, I'm looking for some advice from those who are suffering or have suffered with bulimia. My girlfriend has bulimia. She admits that it used to very serious back before I knew her, making herself sick after every meal. Now, she only does it now and again (that I know of). I've tried to help her

Week 2 Weigh in...
So I maintained this week, no weight loss even though I've upped my exercise and have been pretty good staying off the processed carbohydrates.... Feeling a bit useless at the moment to be honest. I have my period and do tend to put a couple of pounds on when I do, so hoping I'll be able to loose a bit

Cold Clammy night sweats and cold feet
Am so fed up with these. It's bad enough in the day too but I just can't get comfy at night. I feel cold but my body must register hot, or at least part of me feels cold and other parts warm. It's a nightmare trying to get comfortable at night, I have towels stuck down my front and around my legs because

Do The Sweats Ever Get Stop
Night Sweats are severe and serious. All over the body. Very little sleep for weeks. I understand no treatment, no cure. Naproxen doesn't help. The Iontophoresis machine not available, expensive, limited to hands and feet. Is there any hope of this going away or getting less or does it keep getting worse

Opiate detox
Hi I have been taking Targinact and Oxycodone for years, along with various other pain medications for CRPS and Fibromyalgia. Now the Pain Specialist want me to get off these drugs, as they could now be doing more harm than good. However, I am expected to do this on my own, with no medical intervention

Feel sweaty after work out 😁
Hi just done a 10 minute exercise work out and for the first time I had sweat around my forehead is this a good sign that I'm getting better or is it I'm getting worse? Been on 100mcg of levythoxorine for 9 weeks. I also have had 2 days with very little anxiety too but did have a night sweat last night

A Long Time Suffering
Not sure where to start, I have never really admitted this to other people. I have lived with an ED really for so long that it's just my life now. I started with Anorexia after the birth of my first child , I was 20 and I dropped to 7st which for me looks horrendous. I am now in my sixties and still

Tips/advice for me to self help?
Hi, im 27, I was bulimic when I was 23. Which I have managed to over come. Partly because I live at home with patents still and if they were to find out I was bulimic I don't think they'd understand and I'd have far worse stress to deal with. I also had therapy got it. Which was canclled half way through

I love myfitnesspal!
Thanks so much to whoever recommended the app ( I wish there was a "threads I'm on" button so I can check). I only started my attempt at healthy living a week ago. In my first post I said I was thinking of cutting out snacks and cutting down portions, because I couldn't face the faff of calorie counting

Do I actually need help?
I've been going through cycles of binging and purging for the last 2 or so years, currently I'm looking to go to university and the whole Idea of living with strangers has prompted me to try and get help. But recently I read that people can only be diagnosed with Bulimia if they b/p at least twice a

Reflexology
I have just returned from a reflexology session, I am now feeling very relaxed but I was pleased/interested that she picked up thyroid parathyroid and adrenal issues. (She also picked up digestive issues.) I'm hoping to go regularly and re-energise my poor thyroid. Better than a visit to the doctors

I really enjoy food and I really enjoy healthy food but for some reason I choose unhealthy food!! I have always been overweight and it seems to me to be I sabotage myself. If I am fat and someone doesn't like me I can think "it's because I'm fat" if I'm not overweight it is my personality. What if

Decided NOT to fast/Ramdaan/Vitamins
So guys I decided not to fast, and I actually don't feel bad about it because I am not religious at all, in anyway even though my family are Muslims. I did feel that if I didn't fast I would feel left out, but I guess I am doing what is best for me. How are those doing who are fasting? :) Today is
