Prescription meds, not so bad!
Hi again 😊. I'm not sure why people are so against taking medication for symptoms that are limiting their enjoyment of life. If you have exhausted complimentary treatments and your bank balance, then medication can help. There seems to be some sort of shame or weakness associated with taking prescription

Hi all. I received a metallic aortic valve in December 2016 as I had aortic regurgitation and an aortic aneurysm. I was placed on warfarin but could never be stabilised on this, with my INR ranging from 1.1 to greater than 8 at any given time. I was referred to haematology - who said it was down to

Insomnia
I've been suffering from acute insomnia for the past week ; it's not Pred, I know what that insomnia feels like and I'm now down to 8.5 and don't get it. This is purely stress induced: my daughter is going through an unpleasant divorce and I have been supporting her financially as far as I can. We thought

Zopiclone
Hello. I have been taking Zopiclone / Lunesta at night time. Typically 2 x 7.5mg which relaxes my mind. However I experience food cravings (sugar, fats) which leads to binge eating. How can I help myself ? Well, my sense is that I must taper off the Lunesta (zopiclone) gradually, and when my cravings

Lingering symptoms after an attack
Hello, I'm new here. I've been having RLS in my arms now for a few years - it started when I was taking Zopiclone and always reappeared with any psychoactive meds such as antidepressants. Now it's happening without drugs, and getting more frequent. It always happens during the night, say 2 a.m. But now

Anyone tried Zopiclone?
I was prescribed Zopiclone by my GP in case I had trouble getting to sleep at nights. I took a half pill last night (tastes foul by the way), and was wincing around from about 1 to 3-4 am. Instead of sending me off to sleep, it kept me awake. According to a leaflet circulated by Guy’s and St Thomas

Does anybody know if taking Zopiclone can affect Thyroxine absorption rates? For around the last couple of months I have taken small amounts of Zopiclone (left over from when I suffered a sudden bereavement) to help me sleep. I’ve been having a stressfull time at work and been very busy and worrying
