I'm not sure why people are so against taking medication for symptoms that are limiting their enjoyment of life. If you have exhausted complimentary treatments and your bank balance, then medication can help. There seems to be some sort of shame or weakness associated with taking prescription drugs! Life is short and if something works to help you live your life more productively, it works! People are so afraid of side effects or addiction, when most people are not affected in any way. I'm a retired nurse and not ashamed to say I take pain meds, for chronic pain and zopiclone for insomnia. I developed T during a stressful time 10 weeks ago and would be interested in trying something to get rid of it. I live a very happy life though, despite this. My pain is controlled, I sleep well, and I have habituated to the T relatively quickly. It's about balance, not striving so hard to be strong. Accepting help and above all being emotionally healthy is the way to go. I remember being hell bent on having no pain relief during the birth of my daughter's.(What was I thinking) they were born without pain meds, but it was short term pain! Give yourself a break. Life is short!! Love Hayley. Btw I've ordered the TRT ring relief from eBay. I will report back. x

.025 Mg 2 times a day and the T was lowered to the point where I could enjoy my life. Yes there is nothing bad about taking a prescription drug to control this
I totally agree with you Hayley! I’ve had raging Tinnitus for 3 years now and for over 2 years I was in absolute panic and despair, refusing to take anything. Being a matar doesn’t help things at all. When my tinnitus gets awful I take a very mild sedative and if I can’t sleep I take something. As Hayley said, life is too short. Ive tried absolutely everything from Reikki to patches. Let me know what you think of the drops! Good luck 💐💐💐
I'm not totally sure! It's called TRT ring relief which I believe are homeopathic drops to put into your ears. Someone on here gave a very positive review. I don't thing the TRT is pertaining to retraining therapy, it's just the name of the product. Because it's fairly inexpensive I thought I'd give it a go and report back on here x
Yes, that is true, of course. If the onset or worsening of T symptoms follows a change to your medication, that has to be taken into account. My T onset was way after my prescription meds started. Like it has been said so many times , it's a different experience for all of us. x
