Dear Anyone who has suffered from Subarrachnoid Haemorrhage...It is a year ago since I collapsed with SAH aged 46 and ended up at Kings Hospital London who saved my life with coiling. I have made remarkable progress but can anyone here tell me if you they suffer from sudden hours of feeling truly ghastly freezing cold, headache, low mood. It is very hard living on my own and trying to work part time...I don't seem to qualify for PIP. It is very lonely at times....the boyfriend who stuck by me when I was in hospital no longer wants to be with me which I am finding hard as I found him a massive comfort...
Do you find anything helps or makes it worse? Doing too much...too much concentration etc
I cannot sleep without Zopiclone 3.5mg which is ok but I am aware it is addictive. I am down from 3000mg of Keppra to 250mg a day now...I can now drive, walk, talk and I am very grateful to be alive....
Thank you so much Katie

Hi Katie, I had a SAH 3 years ago now and had to have 4 surgeries leading to having a shunt inside. It’s been a very challenging journey but by getting help in all areas I’ve managed to adapt myself in different ways.
I’ve done 3 videos to help others in recovery, here is the link to the first so I hope you can watch these and it may help you. X
Just watched your video! Wow very moving and brought back memories for me of my SAH. A lovely idea to put it on line. How are you doing now? I feel so lucky to be alive but also unlucky to have SAH in the first place...it does give you tremendous insight into how fragile life is and petty humans are at times.
Thank you so much for alerting me to it! Take care Katie ps I chose turtleswimmingoman as I saw a turtle swimming past me when I was snorkling in oman years ago and it is a very happy memory!
