Post traumatic stress disorder
Hello. I had PP in 2006 after the birth of my Son who is now 12. I had a very traumatic delivery which ended up with an emergency c section. I didn't get ill straight away but had very bad sleep deprivation which at the time I put down to being v traumatised by the birth. I was treated at home initially

Long Term zopiclone use
I have been using
eszopiclone
(the active of the two racemic enanatiomers in zopiclone) for over 15 years, don't get to sleep without it. I take half the 3 mg tablet at bedtime, the other half if I awaken during the night (usually to urinate) and sleep does not return in 15 minutes.

Chronic insomnia
Hello, my insomnia started 2 years ago where I was not able to fall asleep, and when I did I was waking up after 30 minutes. So my doctor first put me onto zopiclone, then on amitryptyline because zopiclone was only short term solution. 10mg of amitryptyline worked for 5 months, after that I needed to

I feel I may not belong in this group but thank you.
More than a week after my loading doses I feel I have gone backwards. I am chronically fatigued and pained. Particularly in the limbs. Tinnitus constant. Anxiety through the roof. Depression also. Cannot sleep without zopiclone. 4 months from a neuro appt. My GP doesn't want to treat me for b12 any more

Insomnia in Fibromyalgia
Hi, I'm suffering from acute insomnia I have about 14hrs sleep a week. I was desperate for sleep as it had affected my eating patterns, mood and turned night into day and vice versa. My doctor prescribed Zopiclone which I have found really does not agree with me, I have had an awful reaction eg palpitations

T gone crazy again, will it subside?
T started in Oct 2017, started to habituate so only really noticed it in silence or when trying to sleep but it was manageable. I've recently had a cold that dragged on for a couple of weeks but the last 4 days or so my T has gone insane, even worse than when it first started. I hear it all day, every

Extreme Tinnitus (ear infection?) - Help!
Something very strange has been happening to me since late February, and I'm rather worried. I wondered if anyone here has any suggestions (I'm seeing an ENT tomorrow). Timeline is this: Feb 21st: A nightclub decides to move into my head with an array of thumping-banging-booming sounds IN MY HEAD (

Very frightening thoughts when trying to sleep...
I’m 63, and am currently recovering from a bout of Winter Flu virus that has now kept me off work into this third week. The physical symptoms of the flu are now, happily, receding, but I picked up an immensely worrying set of side symptoms along the way that are threatening to completely cripple me

Sleeping
I am quickly running out of patience tonight. It’s only 1:15am and I have already seen to Mum 4 times since 12:30 either to get her comfy or help her to the commode or change her pants. I’m starting to get really frustrated and and annoyed with her and I hate it as I know she too would rather be sleeping

Grace that I found this website with its caring members. I'm new. Male 43. As well as the alarming blood test results in Subject line, I also have high blood pressure. Bilirubin is normal. ALT and ALP normal AST slightly high – 37 U/L I await results from a recent ultra sound of liver and gall bladder

Insomnia
I just can’t sleep , night after night I just lay here even when I feel so tired . I fall asleep about 4 am then don’t want to get up for work at 7.30 . I thought going back to work would help but I’ve never had a night sleep in a year without zopiclone . My doctor says it’s bad to take sleeping tablets

Zopiclone side effects
Hello, I find 7.5mg of Zopiclone good for getting to sleep - but it gives me huge food cravings (salty, sweet and fatty) for up to 48 hours afterwards. I've tried to control the cravings with supplements (Calcium and Magnesium) but often find it too strong. Perhaps the drug is altering my ghrelin (hunger
