Hi , Had a bit of a rocky ride for about 4 years now and still haven’t got the answers or a clue as to what I should/can do. Just over 3 years ago I was diagnosed with low T. After months of me pushing for tests and investigation as no doc would take my symptoms seriously. Probably because im young

University California-Los Angeles have launched Phase Two Clinical Trial Of Degarelix To Treat Only Male COVID-19 Patients
Looks like this might really work as UCLA started Phase Two trial. Dr Rettig is Medical Director, Prostate Cancer Program, UCLA Institute of Urologic Oncology The reason for choosing degarelix might be that it brings testosterone down very quickly. This means otherwise healthy (except of COVID-19) male

Blood Test Parameters
Hi all. I am trying to come up with a definitive long term list of parameters for monitoring Prostate Cancer. My GP is hopeless, and the urologists only check PSA. My CRP is high, testosterone normal, ALP normal, what else must I check to monitor prostate cancer to give early indications that things

Addison's Patients Are at High Risk of Respiratory Infections and Males with Low Testosterone Levels More Likely to Die From Coronavirus.
I was led down a rabbit hole on Google when researching if taking steroids for Addison's was considered immunosuppressant while completing an NIH "All of Us Research Program" survey on Covid-19. I initially thought that it pertained to those patients with Addison's caused by an autoimmune disorder.

High Testosterone after one month Leuprolide shot
My dad went to his first blood control one month after his first 3-months Leuprolide shot, but his Testosterone is still on normal levels (4.7 ng/ML equivalent to 470 ng/dl). His PSA come from more than 50 to 22, but I guess is only because Bicalutamide. His alkaline phosphatase is on 75. His platalets

Follow up to previous post regarding a friends blood tests.
My friend was recently diagnosed with hypo thyroid problems. I posted some of his blood results previously but he also had other results in his test flagged and is wondering if they are relevant. It was pointed out that his ferritin is very low. He would be very grateful for any opinions. He presently

41 Perimenopause? Femoston. History of unusual fibroid- concerns. Help!
Sorry this is quite long as my history of issues is complex. I have been struggling with my health for 6 years (when I was 35) it started with fatigue and headaches then skin issues (tiny blisters on face and rashes on neck & forearms) then horrendous bloating, abdominal pain and finally crippling back

New results, pituitary and Paul Robinson
My new results are as seen. I’ve now been on 50mcg T3 (split x2) per day and 12.5mcg levo per day. My reason for the low dose of levo is that I found levo was not helping me and in fact, it was making things a lot worse. However, when I stopped it completely I felt the highs n lows of the T3 very acutely

Association Between Dihydrotestosterone and Long-Term Risk for PCa Mortality
New study below [1]. To skip the preamble, read below "***". Ever since Huggins discovered that castration offered palliation for men with PCa, albeit temporary, there has been a belief that testosterone [T[ acts like gasoline on a fire. A number of study papers have appeared over the past 15 years

Stony Brook Estrogen Trial for COVID-19.
I recently mentioned that testosterone was an immunosuppressor & that there might be a COVID survival advantage for males with testosterone [T] below 350 ng/dL, say. But when T approaches zero, so does estradiol [E2], because E2 is created from T via the aromatase enzyme. (When E2 is less than ~12 pg

ADT and body odor or the lack there of.
I have been on Lupron for 6 months now with eSRT. I had my last shot the beginning of April. I noticed recently that I no longer need deodorant. I am just curious if any of you had the same experience? When and if your testosterone came back to prior castrate levels did you still not this issue?

Positive APC Treatment
Just a positive 4 year report on my health. Diagnosed in March of 2016 with a couple of Gleason 9's and 7's and clean bone scan. Immediately began Lupron for 3 1/2 years with 6 month doses. Had 40 radiation treatments in July, August and September. As a regular daily visitor to LA Fitness, my worst side
