Zoladex increase in PSA
After being on Bicalutamide since May 2020 I switched to Zoladex as my PSA had increased from 0.9 to 3.8 in April. I expected my PSA to drop below the 3.8 but my result this week came out at 6.9. Testosterone over the last month has dropped from 19.3 to 0.7. My Pet Scan in February reported as follows

Vegetables to avoid with Estradiol patches.
This is the Snuffy Myers’ video I was referring to. His comments regarding vegetables to avoid when using low dose Estradiol patches start at the 2 minute 50 second mark although the entire video is worth viewing. https://m.iyoutube.com/watch?v=KBpg_SE0Odo

Unexplained increase of DHEA level
Hello, I read posts here about DHEA and got a test from Medichecks and another test from my GP. Both showed higher levels (10.2 umol/L and 9.6 umol/L) outside the normal range. An ultrasound scan showed that my adrenal glands were normal. My GP tested my oestradio, LH/FSH and testosterone too, and they

Estradiol patches and vegetables to avoid
I am interested in low dose Estradiol patches to retain bone density while on ADT but In a video by Snuffy Myers he says that vegetables such as cabbage, kale and broccoli should be avoided as they stimulate the pathway to liver absorption. Did I understand this correctly? I understand that sulfurophanes

Does eating flaxseed help against PCa?
I eat about 10 grams of ground flaxseed with my cereal every morning. Will it lower my testosterone and help keep my PSA lower than it would be?

Should I have my testosterone levels checked?
I have been doing very well since DX in November 2018, on Lupron, 750mg of arbiraterone, and prednisone. My PSA seems stabilized at 0.3 and my other blood readings are well within limits. I keep reading about T levels on this forum, but my MO does not seem to think I need to know my T unless something

Thromboxane A2 [TxA2]
New study from Spain below [1]. PCa cells tend to have elevated levels of the omega-6 fatty acid: Arachidonic Acid [AA]. NF-kB, which is chronically activated in PCa creates numerous cell-survival proteins, includin the COX enzymes. Acting on AA, COX-2 creates prostaglandins and thromboxane [Tx] (

Two Questions
I haven't weighed in on this list for about 8 years. My beloved husband, George Martin, passed away on this day in 2012, but not before benefitting more life giving information from this group than I can list. He lived 7 good quality years with advanced PCa. Today I have 2 questions: 1) Does anyone

I found out it is not sciatica that's bothering me... take a guess what it is...
No, I haven't turned black. Yes, that is a joke about the picture. Yup. PSA shot up again. It lowered down to 60 but shot up to 221. Fuck. I have been taking Xtandi. Since December. Doc wants to take an obvious biopsy of the hip. I'm also joining the Chemo club which is good because from what

Do I need Viagra ?
Every time I'm with a prostitute/escort I can't penetrate, just semi hard, but I can always ejaculate with a semi hard on using my hand which sounds mental lol. I've tried pushing/forcing my semi hard on in using my thumb but won't go in. How can I force/push it in ? It could be a psychological issue

Surgical Menopause - Estradiol gel dose???
Hi all, Anyone who takes estradiol gel for menopause, please may I ask how many pumps you apply each day? I had a total hysterectomy a year ago (everything removed including tubes ovaries cervix) which of course meant I started surgical menopause straight away. After 6 weeks I was prescribed Estradiol

Need Help Interpreting Results
Hello all, My husband (GL 9, several bone mets-diagnosed 8/19-Casodex, Eligard, Zytiga/prednisone, plus radiation) had a bone scan today, along with routine three month blood work and an Eligard shot. He was scheduled for a CAT scan as well, but the MO postponed it as he was recently vaccinated for Covid

*TMI*!! So I am currently prepping for my FET, I’m currently taking estradiol orally and vaginally. I have a lot of cervical mucus over the past 4/5 days. Has anyone ever experienced this with taking this medication?
