How long between stopping norethisterone and starting stimulation drugs?
Hi all, I was meant to be taking norethisterone for 14 days, taking a 5 day break and then starting stimulation meds on Saturday. I got carried away with the relentless š pill popping and have taken an extra 2 pills (should have taken my last at 8pm last night, but it was 2pm instead today). I'm

Hi there progesterone only pill
Hi there I've had a disappointing doctors appointment, they won't let me have anymore norethisterone. They want me in for two more appointment's, one for a blood test to check my liver function. Then one with the nurse to discuss the progesterone only pill, as an alternative. They have said it's dangerous

Also in April, I restarted my experiment with Estradiol patches as a treatment for osteoporosis and ADT SEs. I started on one 0.25 patch twice per week. Today

My story won't apply to everyone, of course, but you may find a nugget worth considering. I've had mild RLS intermittently for forty years until it recently worsened. I'd always managed it with weighted heat, L-Tryptophan, magnesium glycinate, L-Theanine, and if necessary, a little pacing. At age 36,

Hi everyone, I would like your advice over my daughters blood tests please. She has an appointment with a Hormone Specialist in 10 days. Is there any specific information she needs to bring to show the specialist? She has very thin hair on the top of her head and still losing it. Excess hair

PCOS vs Hashimostos
Hi. I've just had the results from my Medichecks "Ultimate Performance" test and I am really very concerned. I took the blood test first thing in the morning after fasting and avoided levothyroxine for 24hrs. The excellent accompanying letter (from a female GP) strongly indicates PCOS which seems

Estetrol for bone density? What estrogen test so I need, anything specific?
Found this interesting article on estetrol and wondering if anyone out there has taken this form of estrogen? I see a lot of posts relating to estradiol patches but the E4 estrogen form appears to be much better at least on first look. The clinical trials were done in the Netherlands so it may be something

As you may know from my previous posts, I've been considering the estradiol patch, as the side effects of 4 years of ADT are mounting. (Spinal Fracture, Osteopenia, Fatigue, bone, joint and and muscle pain as well as general sick feeling. I have discussed on two occasions with my MO, and he is NOT

Norethisterone prior to starting stimulation meds
Hi all, The protocol has changed at my clinic. It wasn't discussed at my consultation but at my nurse appointment I was told everyone has to take norethisterone from cycle day 18 for 15 - 20 days (15 in my case), take a 5 day break then start stimulation meds. I suspect that my period will arrive soon

Return after ovary removal?
10 years ago I had my ovaries removed after suffering from endo for several years. My quality of life improved immensely and Iāve been pretty much pain free since. I am on Kliovance HRT (1mg) and had the mirena coil fitted which is now 5 yrs old. I effectively had a medical menopause. When I had surgery

e2 patch
well I finally got to meet with y Oncologist last week regarding use of estradiol (e2) patch to battle against osteoporosis / osteopenia because the 90 day Xgeva dosing (down from every 28 daysx 2 years) doesn't seem to be doing much. He claims the possible cardiovascular side effects from the PATCH

My 5 Year Blood Test Results
Thanks to Professor Richard J. Wassersug PhD, I started applying estradiol gel (tE2) to lower my testosterone levels in an effort to suppress the proliferation of my PCa recurrence. It has been a miracle hormone for me with ONLY tiny boobs as a side effect, and I haven't seen a doctor in about 6 years

Estradiol experiment update
I had posted here earlier this year about getting a script for estradiol patches. I'd started out with 1 mg patches 2X per week then reduced to .075mg 2 X per week. I ended up pausing the experiment after 37 days due to nipple tenderness along with back pain and muscle pain in my thighs in back that
