Any reassurance that my lining will be thin enough to start ive meds please
I've been taking norethisterone for the last 12 days in preparation for ivf and I started af as planned 3 days after finishing norethisterone. I had a scan on the first day of bleed in the morning and doctor said my lining was too thick to begin treatment she didn't seemed worried as it was only first

Girlies..
With the coil, do you have a constant period cramping with the occasional sharp pains? I'm not bleeding as I'm taking norethisterone so I'm confused. I have an ultrasound scan booked for Wednesday as when my gp felt my stomach, she could feel a lump. I had a laparoscopy the end of march and thatshowed

PCOS trouble? Advice please!
I got diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17; I was told my hormone levels were not too much of a problem but I had an ultrasound which said I had cysts on my ovaries. On average I have four periods a year ranging from 2 to 23 days at a time. I get such horrible pains in my ovaries where it feels like they're

Norethisterone and Coil
I had the mirena fitted at the end of March and I've been told by the gyne to continue to take norethisterone for a couple of months to allow the coil to settle down. I've had bits of blood, headache and crampy type pains for the past week or so but the norethisterone is meant to stop the bleeding and

Thyroid test results
Hello, I finally bit the bullet and paid the £££ to get some tests done using Medichecks and Blue Horizon. They are all blood tests apart from the salivary cortisol. I'd appreciate comments on what they mean and any advice: PROGESTERONE (day21) - 2.9 nmol/L ref range: luteal 5.8 - 75.9 (Dr commented

After receiving my latest lab results, I have a question about the efficacy of oral vs dermal progesterone (all the so called Hertoghe doctors prescribe Estrogel only, as that is said to spare the liver, but some, like my doctor, will put you on progesterone pills Utrogestan). Natural killer cells suppress enzalutamide resistance and cell invasion in CRPC via targeting ARv7.
New study below [1]. "Despite the success of androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) with the newly developed anti-androgen enzalutamide (Enz, also known as MDV3100) to suppress castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) in extending patient survival by an extra 4.8 months ..." Hi ladies just looking for some advice as I'm due to start taking norethisterone on the 13th April for 14 days up until my next period, when I have my next period I will have a scan and start the ivf meds. The nurse has said I now need to have protected sex but I'm thinking if I'm only taking norethisterone

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Cruciferous Phytochemicals - [3] 3,3'-Diindolylmethane [DIM]
DIM (3,3'-Diindolylmethane) is thought to be the most important phytochemical found in broccoli. [1] Estrogen Metabolism. Some may think it odd to begin with estrogen. Much of the DIM literature relates to its effect on estrogen metabolism, & this is of major interest to women with hormonal cancer,

I am a 5'8", 198 pound, 48 year old female. I went to a doctor with the following symptoms: hot flashes, dry skin, fatigue, severe brain fog, constipation (bowel movement once every 4-5 days), hair falls out by the handful in the shower, and I have always struggled with my weight (the only way to lose

Dr. Edward Friedman - The Man Who Claims PCa is Caused by Estradiol
I read his book and he states that the aromatization of testosterone into estradiol causes PCa. He bases some of his conclusions on Lebowitz Triple Androgen Blockade..if you combine the theories of Friedman...Leibowitz...BAT...a protocol to control PCa and prevent CRPC would be: 12 months of Lupron +
