G’day comrades I am reporting that I have ended for now my experiment of one with bipolar androgen therapy (BAT). I have tried to report in detail my experiences and you will find those reports in my profile. The last report was: https://healthunlocked.com/advanced-prostate-cancer/posts/141681346/is-bat-repeatable

What is the treatment for central hypothyroidism?
Hi, I posted yesterday asking about a possible link between POTS and hypothyroidism as I was seeing the Endocrinologist. He hadn't heard of POTS before. But when he looked at my recent results, see below (currently on 45mg Erfa & 25mg Levo) he said that it seems more likely now that I have central hypothyroidism

MD Anderson
Does anyone know MD Anderson's recommendations on the use of low dosage Estradiol patches to help reduce bone loss and/or cardiovascular problems associated with long term ADT use?

Is there a link between hypothyroidism and POTS?
Hi, I had a tilt table test last week for suspected POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). When I was raised into a standing position, my heart rate went from 75 to 117 immediately, and I felt very dizzy with blurry vision, felt like I was going to pass out. Heart rate stayed around 110 for

Low Estrogen?
Hello please could someone point me in the right direction of where to post this? Hypothyroid patient/still not feeling well/unable to conceive. Doctor said I’m in normal range but looking at the ranges I think I’m very low in oestradiol. Could this explain why I feel about 100? It’s connected because

Endometriosis heavy bleeding during periods time
I'm 24 year old girl and single (virgin). My weight is 43kg. Last year I had laparoscopic surgery on September for 9cm ovarian Cyst (endometriosis). I used dinogest 2mg mini pill but mini pill doesn't suitable for me (bleeding during mini pill). So changed to combination pill Composition: Desogestrel

Hormones, which one is better?
Hello, I have been against hormones for ten years since I tried the ring and had a horrible experience. I had laparoscopy last year in Sept and have already another cyst on the same side (and growing). Therefore, even if I tried other natural alternatives, I think it's time to take some hormones as I

Baseline scan cancelled
My baseline scan has been cancelled for today due to no bleed following a short course of Norethisterone. At the previous appointment we questioned the short amount of time between finishing the Norethisterone and the base scan but was assured it was a long enough time frame. I'm feel so frustrated

Help with my results
Hi all, I have had my results back from a recent check and before I have a follow up appointment I was hoping you might be able to advise me on what my optimal results should be (because most of them say I am "normal"/ within range). I should say, before I post results, that I have stopped taking Levo

IVF and diabetes
So I don't know if this will help anyone here, but having been through a few IVF rounds with a few different clinics I thought I'd share what I learned. 1. IVF doctors know pretty much NOTHING about diabetes. Your GP can tell you that your blood sugar levels are perfect but unless they're in normal (
