Baseline scan cancelled

My baseline scan has been cancelled for today due to no bleed following a short course of Norethisterone. At the previous appointment we questioned the short amount of time between finishing the Norethisterone and the base scan but was assured it was a long enough time frame. I'm feel so frustrated and like i am failing already. AHHHHHHH

You will be fine, I took longer to come on too. They will just re evaluate dose. That’s nothing to worry about. Keep positive. xxxx

Hi Tray. I realise your disappointment at not being able to continue with your cycle, but we don't all react the same with medication. I feel it is just a case of adjustment, so please be positive. Good luck! Diane

This happened to me, its totally normal. Fingers crossed you will get a bleed soon. Good luck with everything xx

Did the clinic give you a higher dose or just wait for it to happen? I have period type cramping then nothing happens xx

I was advised just to wait. It was due to come on the Monday and came on the Wednesday evening. I'm a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. I totally understand that it's frustrating, but try avd stay positive. Everybody's body's are different ❤️ xx

Thanks guys, it’s just the frustration of all the appointments being planned now they are all cancelled and the TTW getting closer to Christmas xx

Hiya, know how you feel - I had my first baseline scan yesterday after taking a short course of norethisterone, my period was 4 days late and started 15 minutes before my appointment! Lining is too thick as expected so I have to go back Monday for a re-scan. Hopefully start menopur Tuesday instead now.

Frustrating to now be 4 days behind scheduled but we’re heading in the right direction. I had period cramps for about three days before actually starting (unusual for me). Hope this gives you some reassurance, you’ve got this, stay strong 💪🏻 xx

How are things progressing now for you? I had my baseline scan on Tuesday and started Bemfola 225 on Wednesday. We have our second scan booked for Wednesday xx

Hiya, good thanks, lining was ready on monday so I started menopur that afternoon. Day 6 of stims today, feeling hormonal but fine! Got my scan to check on progress next Wednesday, possible egg collection on Friday 😬

Hiya, I am feeling fine, first couple of days I had a few headaches and really tired but since then nothing. I start Fyremadel tomorrow then second scan on Wednesday and hopefully final scan Friday with egg collection next Monday xx
