It appears my husband may have become castrate resistant. PSA has risen from undetectable <.1 to now .2. We speak with oncologists on Wednesday.
I believe he might have the possibility of radiation as a treatment bc he was oliogometastic at diagnosis 15 months ago. He had chemo along with hormones at the start of treatment. He then had a RP and radiation to pelvic nodes and one single bone spot. So if scan can show us where the cancer is then that might be done.
Can switching hormone therapy- (currently taking oorgovix and zytiga) possibly bring PSA down again?
Any promising clinical trials we should ask about?
Thoughts on provenge?
Not sure pluvicto would work here, psma scan not lighting up yet

He only had radiation to the pelvic nodes. And one bone spot.
The RO intentionally did not include the prostate bed. He wanted to see what came up. If anything. Then he would do MRI guided radiation to that area if needed
