Enzalutamide to reduce urination issues?
My brother tells me he's taking
enzalutamide
to reduce his nighttime bathroom trips. I responded: "I’m surprised to hear this.

5 months on from initial diagnosis
Diagnosed early February 2021. 3 months of "up front"
Enzalutamide

Xtandi stopped working, Jevtana next??
We have been told Xtandi /
Enzalutamide
has stopped working, have to move to the next treatment Chemo - Jevtana / Cabazitaxel.
I just want to know if there are other treatments to consider at this point? Or Jevtana is the right next step?

Bo says I am M1 CRPC (I am not really sure if this is really the case), and he suggested either Abiraterone,
Enzalutamide
, or Radium-233. Will also see Ohio State Dr. Min Yin July 21 to see what he thinks. Any thoughts? Thanks

Stump the Oncologist!
I am on monotherapy
enzalutamide
and have been for some time. My T is 600+. Enza prohibits the uptake of androgens everywhere in the body, not just the tumor cells, so no T in muscles and elsewhere while it circulates in serum. He noted I had not had a bone density test in several years.

The C-reactive protein-albumin ratio [CAR]
[u]patients with CAR > 0.5 has significantly shorter CSS than those with CAR ≤ 0.5 in abiraterone (median of 23 vs 49 months ...) and
enzalutamide
(median of 23 vs 41 months[/u] ...)" Quite a big difference. What does "prognostic" mean?

Most likely radiation schedule
Will reevaluate after 6th chemo, but likely course is adding abiraterone or
enzalutamide
, and radiation to prostate. We are both still working and live by our calendars. We can relocate to Rochester, MN and work remotely if necessary but it would be great to plan for possible scenarios.

Changing horses, Enzalutamide to Abiraterone(Zytiga)
New activity is likely the old adenocarcinoma which has found a "work around" after 10 plus years of ADT and
Enzalutamide
not working to block AR receptors. So we made a decision to start on Abiraterone/prednisone now while continuing on Lupron. So far tolerating the new drugs and labs are okay.

Results of Second Fusion of LU-177
I had my first infusion in Febuary 2021 after
Enzalutamide

Article: FDA grants 177Lu-PSMA-617 breakthrough designation for mCRPC
The open-label phase 3 VISION trial (NCT03511664) included 831 patients (1179 initially screened) with progressive PSMA-positive mCRPC who received at least 1 novel androgen axis drug (eg,
enzalutamide
[Xtandi] or abiraterone acetate [Zytiga]) and were previously treated with 1 to 2 taxane regimens.
