Am I correct that when a patient becomes resistant to either enzalutamide or abiraterone, or has to stop due to arrhythmia one cannot be substitued for the other? Other than docetaxel (chemo) are there other commonly used treatments after enzalutamide or abiraterone resistance?

Pharmacokinetic analyses indicated that enzalutamide did not affect Masofaniten exposure, allowing for full dosing of enzalutamide.

I have read some people can have a change of taste as a side effect of enzalutamide. He is on relugolix , enzalutamide and have added 2000 mg metformin since a month. Anyone here experiences similar ?

Dad has been on BPH medicine since 2011 to control symptoms of prostate enlargement - It contains tamsulosin and dutaseride Recently he has also added xtandi - enzalutamide I read online on drug interaction sites that enzalutamide can reduce efficacy of tamsulosin.

Are any others experiencing metallic tasting food while taking enzalutamide? I’ve noticed that for myself along with poor appetite with weight loss.

I was also taking 400mg Enzalutamide daily. I was experience serious daytime sleepiness and brain fog, so the oncologist stopped the Enzalutamide for 6 months. My weight continue to increase, so he said the Enzalutamide was not the cause and started it again.

MO suggested cabazitaxel (1st choice) or enzalutamide (discouraged because cancer is aggressive). Any data/experience that combined enzalutamide and cabazitaxel would be better?

I read here some do enzalutamide alone without ADT or bicalutamide alone and have low psa numbers even with their testasterone being very high Whereas for those on ADT and ARSi both they say the testosterone numbers should be low and lower the better. Can someone throw some light on this 😊
