Xtandi monotherapy is very effective
The
enzalutamide
monotherapy was almost as effective as
enzalutamide
plus leuprolide with fewer hot flushes, hypertension, falls and fractures. The reduced fractures show that the monotherapy avoids bone loss. Therefore, Xgeva is probably not required.

Final STAMPEDE results for Abi with/out Enza when starting ADT.
We have not formally compared the abiraterone and
enzalutamide
trial with trials testing
enzalutamide
. But, given the similar efficacy reported when combining
enzalutamide
with androgen deprivation therapy, we also conclude that combining abiraterone with
enzalutamide
would not be more effective.

Enzalutamide/Xtandi monotherapy as ADT with fewer side effects than Lupron
Enzalutamide
monotherapy could probably be used instead of Lupron after radiation too.

Updated treatment plan for progressing MCRPC
My Question is, should I switch the abiraterone for
enzalutamide
. There is some evidence for switching these drugs if one is no longer working. Apparently the dexamethasone is not good for bone health. Xgeva every 3 months, Xofigo every month for 6 months and possibly add
enzalutamide
.

Xtandi (enzalutamide) from India
Has anyone ordered
enzalutamide
from India? If so were there any problems, and what pharmacy did you use? There seems to be a plethora of them.

Small molecule ACK1 inhibitor (R)-9b - third generation AR receptor - clinical trial I in 2023
We have identified (R)-9b as a `third generation' of AR-antagonist, which has ability to overcome
Enzalutamide
and abiraterone-resistant prostate cancer.

Enzalutamide or Darolutamide
Hi, I have advanced metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer and as well as my usual three monthly ADT (Lucrin-Depot) injection, I have been offered either
Enzalutamide
(Xtandi) or Darolutamide (Nubeqa). My PSA is currently below 0.1 due to the Lucrin-Depot.

Enzalutamide at half strength?
I have high volume mrpca and have had triplit therapy with
enzalutamide
at 160 mg per day. My response has been great with PCA falling from 700 at diagnosis to undetectable at 3 measurements over the last 6 months.

BAT in Argentina
Interestingly, the PSA-PFS for

was significantly longer than with

Abiraterone/enzalutamide+PARP inhibitor better than abiraterone/enzalutamide alone for mCRPC, even without BRCA+
By combining the PARP inhibitor (Lynparza (olaparib) or Talzenna (talazoparib)) with either abiraterone or
enzalutamide
, cancer progression was slowed, even in men who were BRCA-.
