Hi ladies I'm after a bit of advice. I have stage 4 endo already had loads of surgeries ; bowel resection, uretic stents, stoma etc. The only further surgery the hospital will do is a total clearance and as I'm only 34 they won't consider that and I understand that the risk of doing so are quite high

Wierd bleeding
Hi everyone, I have strange cycle bleeding. Coming up may be a bit of TMI for some so feel free to leave now. If you don’t I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read and try and to help. I don’t know what it is. On the 28th August last year I finally had long awaited surgery which was severe

It's been a while, I'm exhausted.. I've been switching between prostap and zoladex and I've come to 2 years of being on these menopause injections, on prostap I've experienced a period every month with extreme pain when opening my bowels, on zoladex I experienced periods every 12 days, bearable pain

Anyone else with diaphragmatic endometriosis?
Hi I was diagnosed with grade 4 endo in 2016 and went through 2 laps and a bowel resection. At the time they also found endo on my diaphragm but to my knowledge this was never removed. I was due to see my consultant last month but the appointment was cancelled and the hospital is not taking general appointments

Decaceptyl and Escitalopram (Cipalex/Lexapro)
Hi all, In advance of bowel resection and hysterectomy in September, my gynae surgeon wants me to have a Decaceptyl 3 monthly injection. This should calm/reduce endo inflammation in area closest to my bowel and lowers risks of any damage when operating around the nerves which control my bowel, bladder

Bowel resection on Monday
Hi everyone, I have stage 4 recto vaginal endo and have been struggling for years. I had my first lap last December to remove a 4cm cyst from the left ovary. The surgeon found endo on my appendix and my ulterior wall. I have now been booked in for a bowel resection + removal of the endo within my gynae

Stage 4 Endo - on Prostap/Tibolone 2 years - GP says stop due to migraine with aura as this is warning sign of stroke
I have been having migraine with aura on and off for a year and only recently went to the doctor about it. He alarmingly told me that this was an early warning sign of stroke and I have been told to stop taking Tibolone. My next Prostap injection is due next week. My mood is very low because of not taking

Rectovaginal and rectal endometriosis having hysterectomy in 8 days. They said I may wake with a colostomy bag??
So 14 months ago I had surgery, excision surgery. Four hours in operation. Rectovaginal, rectal, on side walls, and pelvic floor they found ‘superficial ‘ endometriosis. Had my tubes from kidney to bladder ( forget their name) moved as they had endometriosis on/around them. My uterus was noted as ‘bulky

Pain after sigmoidoscopy
Hi all, I had a sigmoidoscopy on Thursday which confirmed I will need a bowel resection. The test itself wasn’t that uncomfortable though he took a few biopsies, ever since I’ve been getting the most intense sharp pain near my left hip which only codeine will touch. Has anyone had any bad symptoms after
