Hi all eventually got my appointment for a bowel X-ray with a water based contrast enema had a bowel resection 3 months ago for cancer and bowels are still not settled down I have constipation then diarrhoea with lower Bach pain and bloating and just wondering if anyone else had had this X-ray and what to expect

Hi Tatty10 ,Thanks for posting and I'm so sorry to hear you are still having issues with your bowels post-surgery.

Do you think that the contrast enema has irritated your GI system?

Prior to the X-Ray, were your bowels improving over how they have been since having the resection?

What has the Doctor said about your GI system getting better?
