Wierd bleeding

Hi everyone,

I have strange cycle bleeding. Coming up may be a bit of TMI for some so feel free to leave now. If you don’t I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read and try and to help.

I don’t know what it is.

On the 28th August last year I finally had long awaited surgery which was severe major surgery I lost a tube and had a part bowel resection whilst having severe endo removed from my insides.

I am now coming up for 7months post surgery and after about 6wks my cycles came back and fell into a rhythm.

This month has been different. Flo came like normal on the 26th feb and lasted it’s normal 3/4 days. I wouldn’t say it seemed any different to normal in terms of flow consistency etc. Then I believe I ovulated 6-7 days after that. It lasted a few days and again seemed like a period. Enough to slightly stain underwear and fill maybe one tampon but not enough to be what I call a full flow consistently for a couple days then it stopped 3 days ago and now it’s back.

I don’t know what’s going on and just wondered if anyone had any insight before a take up a precious medical professionals time by asking random questions. My period is due again at the weekend.

I am tracking my cycles and yes we are actively trying to get pregnant but as I said I only have one tube. Have an appointment with Gynae in may for a fertility referral.

There are lots of causes for intermenstrual bleeding, most of which are harmless, but you need to have this diagnosed by a doctor. Please do talk to your GP about it so they can advise you on whether you need to be seen and have further testing xx
