Colitis, Terminal iletis or Crohns?
Hi, I had my gallbladder out in June 2021. Straight away I then suffered from urgent severe diarrhoea, bloating, yellow poo, fatigue, excessive flatulence and exhaustion. My GP ordered a calprotectin test in September which came back at 222 and I had a repeat one in December which came back at 430.

Urgency/incontinence control?
I have an opportunity I would like to take to go abroad in a month but I fear my bowel urgency/incontinence would make this difficult. I do take Questran (I have had a bowel resection, dormant Crohn's very fortunately) and that is very helpful but unknown foreign spices can bring unwanted surprises?

Experiences of coming off zoladex
I've been in zoladex for 6 months, my last injection was at the beginning of this month, and I've loved it, but my consultant says I can't have any more due to my age and the risks of osteoporosis. I'll be going on the mini pill while I wait for excision and bowel resection. I'm really worried that all

What a journey!
I have been on this group for almost two years posting about the blood I saw on my stool, it was always minimal but at times very dark, I even posted pics 🤢. I had symptoms before I became pregnant, I then had a colonoscopy 8 months after I gave birth, they kept delaying it because I’m only 31. Well

Stage 4 endo -advice about going private please!
Hi all, I have stage 4 endo, mainly in the bowel and have been told I need a bowel resection but the waiting list is still 2 years. I’m thinking about going private but can anyone shed any light as to how much it is likely to cost? And where do I even start to get the ball rolling with going private!

Micro blood clot in toe
Hi, hope everyone is feeling as well as possible. I was diagnosed with ET JAK2 positive in 2016, my platelets have never really been higher than 550 however I was diagnosed after having a splenic infarct, sine then have had a splenectomy and small bowel resection due to inflammatory cyst in my bowel.

bowel resection
Anyone had a bowel resection out there? Surgery itself doesn't seem like a big deal, but I was wondering: - How long recovery takes - What adjustments you need to make (esp. when it comes to eating & pooping Thanks!

They also said one of my fallopian tubes doesn't work and is infected, and i have this large nodule in my vagina which causes daily discharge. They have said to fix it

Hi Robert yes l have read many misleading information. I was diagnosed and started on Urso in 2012 At that time being extremely sick since 2008 when my liver failed and kidneys and even heart. The country hospital being unable to diagnose me. I spent at least a year at home curled up with everything

IBS, resection surgery and Imodium
I had a bowel resection surgery for a cyst about a year ago. They took 13 inches of my bowel out. Some small and some large intestine. I had IBS D before surgery but seemed to manage it by the way I would eat. Since surgery though it comes and goes way more frequently. I just started trying to use Imodium

Hi all! Hoping for some sensible advice here :) Short version: Does the zoladex injection really hurt? Would zoladex destroy endometrial lesions? What is the practical difference between zoladex and visanne? Background ramble: 1week post laparoscopy (10cm endometrioma plus smaller one, both tubes,

Hi ladies I'm after a bit of advice. I have stage 4 endo already had loads of surgeries ; bowel resection, uretic stents, stoma etc. The only further surgery the hospital will do is a total clearance and as I'm only 34 they won't consider that and I understand that the risk of doing so are quite high
