Urgency/incontinence control?

I have an opportunity I would like to take to go abroad in a month but I fear my bowel urgency/incontinence would make this difficult. I do take Questran (I have had a bowel resection, dormant Crohn's very fortunately) and that is very helpful but unknown foreign spices can bring unwanted surprises? The nature of the trip would be such that always eating out of grocery stores would be impossible. I know I can do diapers, but it isn't really a great option, although it may be a part of what I have to do. Any tips much appreciated!

Sorry I can't offer any advice, but I really hope that someone else can...it sounds too good an opportunity to have to pass it by because of your Chron's and fear of 'accidents'. ❤️

My Gastro Consultant recommends I take Imodium if I need to be sure I will be safe to go out and about, taking a low regular dose can be very helpful. You would need to check with your own Dr if that is something you could try.
