Experiences of coming off zoladex

I've been in zoladex for 6 months, my last injection was at the beginning of this month, and I've loved it, but my consultant says I can't have any more due to my age and the risks of osteoporosis. I'll be going on the mini pill while I wait for excision and bowel resection. I'm really worried that all my pain is going to return! Just looking for people's experiences to give me some idea of what to expect. Thanks all

I've been on Zoladex for years almost continuously. When I have come off it all my problems become unbearable. It takes the edge off and improves my life. I should mention that I've had various operations including hysterectomy and oopherectomy and a lot of excision of my endometriosis.

People's experiences of what they are allowed to have drugs wise seem very different and I consider myself very lucky. However, they have nothing else to offer me.

Would they not consider letting you stay on Zoladex for longer? xx
