Kind of gross and a sort of update. Fyi there is alot of tmi so lease scroll on if you gag easily.
After said episode I completed an
enema
and all I’m going to say is that it both smelled horrific and felt horrific but I think it may have helped clear some things up. I’m not sure that she is going to send me to a gastroenterologist just yet and I’m not sure if I agree with this.

Movicol disimpaction
Been on Movicol then recently put on dulcolax and 12th December had an emerald done and then 8th January had another
enema
done. Now on a Movicol disimpaction regime with Movicol and picosulfate - we are day 4 into it on 10 sachets and still nothing just little loose accidents in underwear.

Considering home schooling for a while to get on top of my son’s soiling...
My son is 7 and has suffered from constipation and soiling since 4 years old. He is under a specialist where we live in Denmark and is on regular laxatives, toilet sits after meals and until recently enemas. His recent scans show his constipation is well managed but he no longer gets the signal he needs

Natural Treatments for Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis
Enema
Because the drug acts on the rectum which is close to the focus, it can also be directly absorbed by the prostate gland, thus increasing the local blood circulation of the prostate and promoting the elimination of inflammation.

Concerns about Salvage Radiation
Did you do enemas before each session and is it OK to do a daily
enema
? I am not particularly regular and would like to be in the best position to avoid damaging that area. Also, I had surgery April 1st and am still not fully continent.

Vomiting & constipation
She also had an
enema
3 days ago. I guess my questions are: 1) what’s the longest disimpaction might take? 2) have others experienced such prolonged vomiting (10 times + a day)? Thank you for your time 😊

Really constipated
I have lately been going 4-5 days without a BM. Today is day 5. My wife wanted to go to the beach, so I took her. Around 1pm I told her I needed to get back to our unit to take care of business. She knows it's day 5. I tried to dissuade her, but she insisted on coming back. I took a TBSP of castor oil

Poop retention, by a man who suffered this from birth to 13.
When my mother was pregnant with me, she had significant iron deficiency. This was the early 60"s, when a pregnant woman's iron level was not checked. There was also another reason why my mother had iron deficiency. I was conceived three months after my sister was born, so my mother's body had not recovered

Constipation and laxative use... Help?
Last Saturday I had 50mg of dulcolax and I never went to toilet so yesterday (Wednesday) I had another 50mg of dulcolax and it never worked either, so this morning I went to see my GP and she gave me miralax
enema
and that never worked either.

Still learning to adapt to the changes MS brings.
I was held one more day for observation and was so grateful to this middle-aged nurse and college-aged med tech for bringing me relief that I allowed three of their training young techs to administer an unneeded
enema
to me so that they could be certified on this useful and nearly forgotten about remedy

Staying overnight for laparoscopy
I've not really had much information about what it's all going to be like next week (except that I'll need to have an
enema
the night before). Has anyone had a similar experience? What would you recommend taking in for my overnight stay?

Doctors tell me it's ibs but I think it's way more serious
I started out not being able to BM for three days then diarrhea. Then it led to four months of me having to use laxatives and magnesium citrate to relieve impaction. Ended up in a random emergency room when traveling. X-ray shower very impacted and colitis. After he prescribed four bottles of magnesium

Poo has finally gone.
Just a brief update, after 5 weeks of constipation and a load of Enemas we finally had a nurse say it was impossible and has removed it manually. Very stressful for mum and she is totally shattered. Another waiting game now begins x

What tests do they do?
I’ve been referred to oncology by my go but no idea what tests they will do as I haven’t been asked to do an
enema
or special diet - I was expecting a colonoscopy

Chronic Constipation Since PD Prescription Changed
The
enema
worked, but BMs are still not normal. I believe that the extreme change in my PD treatments is removing all fluids from my intestines. In August, my Kt/V finally reached 1.74 -- which is acceptable but still on the low end.

Advice please.
Mum has been constipated for a minimum 11 days now. She has had 4 enemas in total, today’s one Arachis oil was taken a few hours ago but still no movement. Mum has been through the mill lately and feel this could be fatal. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
