Diagnosed with cysts and a fibroid
I had an
endoscopy
for a suspect stomach bleed from the ibuprofen but all they found was a small patch of inflammation in my stomach and the biopsy was normal.

Issues with the aspirin
I had an appointment with the haematologist today who said it sounds like I could do with having an
endoscopy
to see if I've got an ulcer. He said I could be prescribed clopidogrel as an alternative to the aspirin.

New to group, caring for a sufferer
We've had CT scan results, which took 6 weeks and now we're awaiting blood tests and
endoscopy
(looking for varices). We're familiar with the "waiting game" as I was diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago, so I have good strategies to manage over thinking, stress and anxiety.

Anesthesia used for endoscopy
I was diagnosed with PA when I was 19 yrs old. My hemoglobin was 6 and nearly died. All tests, Schilling, bone marrow etc. verified this. I am 63 years old now. I have carcinoid syndrome and have had biopsies done every 3-4 months. My Dr is sending me to a neurologist now to test for possible dementia

Cancer Outlook post op
However, it did show cancer when I had the
endoscopy
ablation. Apparently the scans will not show anything unless it is a large mass. So far nothing in the lymph nodes but all the doctors, surgeon, iconologist and radiologist recommend the Ivor Lewis.

My Wife was Diagnosed with Mucinous OC Stage 1C/IIB (Grade 2)...
Colonoscopy and
endoscopy
all came back fine. Sloan also said they would have removed appendix, which NYU did not. Anyone else MOC 1C+ experience a broken tumor (or detached fragment) spotted on the pelvic cul-de-sac? What treatment should we choose?

Unexplained symptoms after anaesthetic
Due to my gastro problems I have an NJ tube (a tube going into my bowel) but I vomited it out on Sunday, I then had an
endoscopy
to have a new one put down under general anaesthetic but I had a bad reaction.

So fed up 😞
I have had an abdominal ultrasound, colonoscopy and an
endoscopy
, an MRI scan of the small bowel - not to mention the hundreds of blood tests. The doctors were testing me for IBD because I was going to toilet more often and felt like I couldn't empty my bowels properly (sorry for the detail).

Worried about past RAI treatment
Seen ENT and had
endoscopy
and both looked ok apart from lax valve in stomach. At this time I had a copy of a letter which was for my GP from a cardiologist after ecg which mentioned my previous RAI treatment. It worried me as I didn’t know why it would be relevant?

IBS and fatigue?
So far I have had various tests,
endoscopy
, colonoscopy which showed that I have some diverticula. I also have B12 deficiency which I think maybe caused by the lansoperazole that I'm on so I've been on B12 pills along with folic acid. I'm also on a statin and a blood thinner.

Asthma and Gerd my experience so far...
Im middle aged and had asthma since birth and in the last 5 years or so I've had quite bad flare ups and in the last 2 years bad reflux. On reflection I'm convinced the flare ups had a reflux element as oral steroids and increased inhalers did not shift it and in fact it seemed to get worse. I take seretide

Question about b12 deficiency
He had colonoscopy and
endoscopy
in December to rule out stomach and bowel cancer. He had lesions in stomach specialist said were probably cause of b12 deficiency but as biopsies came back clear nothing was done. He has been to see GP several times and keeps getting told nothing wrong.
