Well been having issues with certain foods staying down & itching like crazy! My ONC. decided to do my body scan & an MRI to see whats up. Well, the scan came back fine the same as 4 mos. ago no growth. But the MRI showed a mass outside the pancreas. So, a endoscopy was scheduled. This was more intense then the last one I had. They had plans to go in & put in a stent since the bile duck was not draining (causing the vomiting, heartburn & severe itching). My intestine, they said was small so they had issues with the scope going through. But the mass was on the outer part of the pancreas's. SO essentially nothing was done. On top of all that I won't know if this mass is breast related or a new cancer! I've been taken off Ibrance which I have been on since Sept. 2017 with good response from the cancer in the spine, A new plan will start as soon as the biopsy comes back. So in the mean time I have lost 13-Lbs & can't really eat. This other procedure will put a very small tube in from the abdomen & stay for about 2 weeks. It will help with the bile duct & I'll finally be free of the itching. The itching hurts more then anything & nothing seems to work! Atarax did nothing & now they have called in cholestyramine. We will see how that works. I'm hoping this cancer IS breast related & that what they put me on works for both spots. I'm tired, my little family has been through so much. Thank you for allowing me to apart of this amazing site! It truly is a blessing to be able to "talk & express" w/o feeling like a burden.

Another bump in the road
Ah Darlene, I am so sorry you are being dragged through this mentally and physically. Is it possible it is not cancer? A cyst? A pocket of infection or other benign contents? It’s so hard to wait for diagnosis especially when you are beaten up physically. I will keep you in my daily intentions. Please let us know the results and the plan. We are all in this together. 💕 ⭐️
My ONC. is pretty sure it's cancer. But this won't stop me or put me down. I have a 21 month old grand baby cheering for me in the sideline's, well hugging & kissing me that will forever keep in the now! Thank you for your response, this site is really awesome...
I’m so sorry for your news. We are all here for you! Anytime you need anything let me know what I can do for you. I’m sure it’s breast cancer or maybe a blockage that’s not cancer. When you say itchy where on your skin? I’m sending positive thoughts and prayers for you and your family.🙏❤️
I'm so sorry you're going through this difficult stage at the moment. Are there foods that don't produce so much bile? If they didn't advise you perhaps you can google for some tips over this long weekend. Enjoy your family as a distraction and once you get the results you'll be able to focus on the plan to get you through the next stage. Thinking of you and sending healing vibes!
So sorry you are suffering from the itching. I had episode if hives many years ago and know how maddening this condition can be. Have docs recommended any topical cortisone for relief prior to your procedure? Or even a cortisone shot? You are in my prayers, Darlene!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ Linda
Wow! You are having a bad time. Just take it a step at a time and try to think good thoughts. Maybe just a bump in the road. I will be thinking of you and hoping all goes well and you start feeling better.
So sorry, be positive. Do not focus wether is cancer or not till you have the results, God bless you
I feel your pain! I, too have a sick stomach most days lately and am wondering about a stomach cancer! I will have a scan this week with hopes that I'm just experiencing another side effect,. This disease is such a bummer, but we need to stay positive and trust the Good Lord! Good luck to you going forward!
I will be praying for you, my dear girl! God bless! We do get to vent through this site and it's really a good thing! Take care and good luck to you going forward! Kathy
It sounds so uncomfortable, but also as if your team is on top of it! I hope you get your biopsy soon, and everything will be clearer...
You poor thing! As you say, your little family has been through so much. You too have been through a lot, and yet, you stay strong and determined. Little ones are the best medicine and I’m very glad you have someone in the wings with a ready smile and a butterfly kiss. Praying that you get relief soon.
