Some relief but reflux and stomach issues still exist

Some of you know that I was very worried about the colonoscopy and more so the endoscopy that I had August 6th. The doctor said colonoscopy looked great but took 2 tissue biopsies from my stomach right at the esophagus and down by the small intestine. No results for over a week and I was panicked. Good news is that biopsies came back fine. Just reflux. I'm glad but still don't know what's causing the stomach/gut issues. Random nausea sometimes after eating, sometimes cramping and a lot of burping. I eat fine and everything stays down fine. Some constipation off and on too. Anxiety? I just don't know what to think. All my blood work a few weeks ago came back fine too. I have a follow up dr appointment Monday.

Having these tests done will rule out a lot of the possible problems. That will help you to get the root of your problem. It's not easy to go through the invasive testing though, is it?

I am the same I had a camera and biopsies , came back ok he was very nice about it all even though I cried in his office and he said there’s a lot of people with these problems that come to him and don’t get answers ,he said he’s sure I’m dealing with some IBS however I’ve tried diet change etc and no different I suffer with acid reflux too. I suffered with these problems way before I even started showing signs or thoughts of anxiety !

Hi I was just reading about your post, as I am having something similar I can't stop clearing my throat and its lasted a long time now and now I am starting to get worried about this. I went to the doctors about a week ago they said it was inflammed vocal chords I was a bit shocked as had no idea and did not seem like I had a cold, so he gave me some Lansoprazole tablets to take as might be reflux from the the stomach. I'm still taking the tablets nothing seem to be working I feel like I have a lump in my throat and it just does not seem to want to go away, I'm still a bit worried as not knowing what it is I don't want to think the worst but can't help this has added to my anxiety. I'm going to go back to maybe see if I can have a camera down im not sure if I should or not?
