advice for coming off meds, before endoscopy procedure.
I now have an appointment to have a
endoscopy
procedure this week& have been told to come off the two blood thinners I’m on. Plavex & asprin, for one week, which I’m afraid to do. I’ve tried getting in touch with the gastroenterologist, even the clinic are finding it impossible.

Gut is now at metaplasia stage and it's irreversible. Need advice, friends.
Around this time I was scheduled for my yearly
endoscopy
- Jan 3, '23. While my first
endoscopy
in '21 showed incredible inflammation as well as my second one in '22, this last one crossed the line (see below).

Need help fast! Hydroxy and fluconozole Don’t mix? What to do?
I had an
endoscopy
last Tuesday and yeast was found in my esophagus. I had had oral thrush 6 weeks ago and was prescribed fluconozle. Now I’m on it again but pharmacy says it is a level one alarm for hydroxy and F. To be taken together. I have thrush in my entire mouth and throat.

Clopidogrel causing duodenitis?
Over the last year or so I have developed inflammation of the duodenum, confirmed by
endoscopy
. The consultant wrote "duodenitis caused by clopidogrel" on his summary of findings.

Pls help with blood tests
Endoscopy
was done as I start having digestive problems most of the times. I am now in gluten and lactose diet and have an appointment abroad as the tests done in UK came back in range for thyroid so therefore nothing they can do.

Erosive Gastritis Anyone - Prednisolone
Now, as an aside from an upper
endoscopy
for different reasons, I have now been diagnosed with erosive gastritis. I can’t help thinking that if anyone had bothered to investigate before, it may not have got to this point.

non cardiac chest pain?
I have had
endoscopy
that revealed oesophagetis but not significant. I have tried omeprazole, estoprozal and now lanzoprisol. Anyone else have any similar issues with what is presumed non cardiac pain.

UK guidelines for management of thyroid nodules?
The consultant also did a naso-
endoscopy
and noted phonatory gap/vocal cord paralysis but said it's unconnected and not an issue. As the nodules look benign I was discharged from ENT with no follow up or further action. The swelling on my thyroid causes me constant discomfort.

Turning things around
Seeing the consultant yesterday I was told that my bloods were now normal, I have very very minor varices - he is not concerned, (no
endoscopy
for another 2 years) and my Fibroscan was grade2.

Consultant Appointment
Hi my husband was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis at the end of 2021. His last consultant appointment was the beginning of 2022. He finally has a consultant appointment this week. I'm compiling a list of questions to ask at his appointment as I feel as though we are in the dark with regards

Colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Today I had both my colonoscopy and
endoscopy
, and I must say that having them was a lot less harrowing than I thought it would be. My appointment I was 8.30 am and I was home by 11 o’clock.

Help please to understand what's happening
My story starts 2020 December, I got a pain 3 inches from the top of my sternum, well to the right. It was more chest than anything. Come march the pain had gone and they did an xray and it was clear. Over the next year I would have heartburn and indigestion and would come and go. Tame some tablets
