Coming off Beta Blockers and Eplerenone?
My HA was over a year ago and I am reasonably pleased with my recovery, as measured by physical activity levels with no discomfort during exertion. I have a GP meds review coming up, and I would like to know if suggesting a plan to eventually come off Bisoprolol (1.25mg/day) and Eplerenone (25mg/day

ET and fatigue
Hi, I am new to the site.My husband has recently been diagnosed with ET JAK2 positive. He has seen a haem but she doesn’t believe his extreme fatigue and brain fog is caused by ET. He is in his early 50’s and is deemed low risk due to his age and has been prescribed aspirin only. Do we seek a second

Story so far.... Had a recent hospitalisation in Cyprus for a problem unconnected to the thyroid (acute diverticular episode after 30 years of no major issues) which resulted in me having to have a CT scan when I returned from holiday. The scan was OK on the original issue, nothing sinister revealed

ET and dupixent
44 year old with ET jak2. I am on 81mg daily aspirin only. I have nasal polyps and mild asthma. I have not been able to smell for years. Is anyone with ET taking Dupixent? My ENT thinks it would be my best treatment option. If you are can you let me know what your experience with it is?

Hello friends, I recently had myself a Stroke, the ambulance and emergency depth staff were exceptional at their jobs and I was only in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for 3 days. Fed Up.
Hello again, very long time, no see. I will freely admit that a huge part of my absence has been pure denial. As 2024 begins, I realise I have been a prisoner of my health problems since late 2020, when it all really kicked off probably due in no small way to our good friend Covid, both mentally and

Possible Aspirin Help in Reducing Cancer Mortality
I came across this article and am asking my MO for his opinion. I would be interested if anyone else has seen this or asked their MO about aspirin's possible use in their treatment. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41416-023-02506-5#:~:text=These%20explain%20the%20observed%20reductions,mortality%20associated

What is 25 AU
Got the results of my CT coronary angiogram yesterday. It gave me a calcuim score of 26.5 AU - I can find any reference to what AU means ? - Although a calcuim score of 26.5 seems ok - but not sure of the significance of the AU The rest of the report reads Evidence of right dominant circulation

new on Flecainide
My afib started 11 years ago with one episode and then went silent for nearly six years . So for the first six years I was on low dose diltiazem and one standard aspirin. for the last four years I was put on Multaq and Eliquis. Multaq kept me in NSR for about a year and then progressively became ineffective
