Had one of THOSE runs!!
Well every niggle niggled louder, each muscle threatened mutiny and my breathing developed
emphysema
like quality!! But.....I finished! Though my week 8 has a glitch and when Laura starts to say slow down now you've done it, she suddenly stops and I see I still have 49secs left!!

Hello just introducing myself for now, with a question if that's OK
I have
Emphysema

So...does cannabis oil work?
In September i had a CT scan, which showed i also had
emphysema
. My pulmonologist then upgraded my status to moderate, possibly stage 2.

Emphysema
My husband has just
emphysema
and when his oxygen needs are increasing and he is poorly I find it frustrating that someone with a stethoscope will say "don't worry his chest is clear" and we end up in resus again.

AAT test normal
AAT
emphysema
is bad news, well all of it is. So while it does not change how I feel, it is another thing to check off the list I guess. Few more tests to go...............

Back to work with emphysema
I recently started work which I haven't done since being diagnosed with
emphysema
. On my last spirometry my lung age was 73, I am 43. I thought I would be ok going back but I am struggling to breath on my journey there and back and because I have gone back to work I have forgone my benefits I had.

Any questions for COPD specialist?
I'm seeing a copd specialist today and was wondering if anyone had any general question ideas (in 4 hours) Also if it was worth getting a CT scan to show the extent of
emphysema
damage? Not sure if knowing helps treatment vs the exposure to radiation.
