i've been diagnosed with stage 4 COPD (
emphysema
w/chronic bronchitis, chronic respiratory failure and dyspnea) so i was pleasantly surprised at this upturn.

Interstitial lung disease with no full diagnosis
I've been told I have interstitial lung disease, showing
emphysema
with some fibrosis. But I've not been given a proper diagnosis as everything they've tested for had come back clear. Anyway I just thought I'd introduce myself and share my story.

Need thoughts, advice from people with COPD. Long post, but bear with me
I know you can have
emphysema
, and normal PFT's, but how I feel, I should be late stage, yet the spirometry says otherwise. Many people have early COPD, and no sxs. What gives? I know it affects everyone different, but this is crazy.

Feel short of breath at rest, moving makes it worse. Fast HR. Very anxious.
I am pretty convinced I have
Emphysema
, even tho my spiro has been ok. I know that it something which can be preserved and still have damage to lung tissue. Even tho the spiro is good, I feel like just disappearing. Not sure i could handle having a chronic illness, and I don't even have one yet!
