finally a diagnosis but must have had it a good year,now I see why my blood oxygen levels are so low. My farther dyed with it 😬.At least I am luckyer than my dad he had chronic bronchitis,Asthma also They have switched me a different inhaler it’s once a day powder ,I hope this improves my walking

I've been on inhalers for a few years now. They are helping for a while then it's hard to breath. Worse after my heart attack and covid

They put extractor over machine for I afternoon then on the Monday dissmissed me letter said because of my Emphysema and if I had mentioned it interview they would have deemed me unsuitable for the position.Spoke to ACAS and waiting for a concilldator to call me.

Hi, approx 18 months ago i had a bullectomy operation. At my last chest xray some months ago, the report in to the result of that xray stated " deaeration at right hilum and right lung base". Also says there is a large right apical bulla. I have tried to find out on google ect what this actually

Diagnosed with emphysema in 2021. Fev1/fev has dropped from 65 to 61 in 3 years. FVC is 85% predicted. Get breathless walking. Can walk 420 metres in 6 minutes. Anyone know how quickly the fev ratio will fall/deteriorate? Medics seem vague on this. many thanks.

I've coughing up flem and filling sputum pots at least 4times aday is that emphysema getting worse?

Was diagnosed with a lesion on lung, end stage COPD & Emphysema three weeks ago.

Does anyone find that ventilin does hardly nothing for there copd not asthma as I believe it is mainly for asthma,I don't have asthma, I have emphysema and I think bronchitis and don't know why I'm given ventilin as I say it hardly helps does anyone else find this answers appreciated

She said my emphysema was only mild and didn’t warrant prophylactic treatment. I said I was worried about going into winter with the increased risk of illness when I’d already had so many chest infections.

Hi, Has anyone applied for a blue badge due to COPD/Emphysema? I recently applied with these conditions as I struggle with walking short distances, I sent all the information that was required and have been informed today that I do not qualify??

I just wanted to ask if anyone has both emphysema and osteoporosis? If so, would you mind telling me what maintenance inhaler you use and what medication have you been prescribed for osteoporosis. I'm on Trimbow and not very happy about it, but don't know what alternative inhaler to request.
