Lower Left Lobectomy for Bronchiectatsis good new report!
This is called subcutaneous
emphysema
. I had to wait in the hospital until the leak healed itself. I really think the surgery has been successful. I prepped for this operation as much as possible. I exercised. Really. A lot. This allowed me to be able to walk every day in the hospital.

Hello I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I do not know anything about this disease because I'm new to it. I want to ask when I was diagnosed copd the oxygen level was 98% but I feel short of breath. Do I need oxygen if it is 98%? Does low lung function make the oxygen level drop or has nothing

is steady at stage 1 now for 10yrs-my recent lung function test after the removal of large bullie from lung & 2 nodules is 89% down from 91% 12mnths ago. I'm doing everything I can to keep fit-active & alive.

I have
emphysema
and am worried that I dont have long to live. I am told that the winter will probably end my days as I am rapidly losing weight and I cannot fight it. Does anyone else have this problem.

Hi all, I was here to ask about my mother who is newly diagnosed
emphysema
via CT, but the doctor was only satisfied with ct and did not ask for other tests. I want to ask what tests are needed to know the stage and is CT sufficient for the diagnosis?

Well, after seeing a consultant on Friday, I have finally admitted to my boyfriend I have stage 3

Emphysema
Recently diagnosed with
emphysema
. I did a CT scan. I had a swelling at the top of the lung. The doctor told me I would stop smoking to control the symptoms and progress but I read on the sites.

Emphysema
Hi everyone, I'm recently diagnosed. Does any one else have the swollen feet and legs ? My GP advised me today that they are not ever likely to go back to what they were even though I am taking medication for it.

Info about NAC?
I want to take it for my
emphysema
, which is currently well controlled, but I can't find much info on how it effects the kidneys.

Visit to the Dentists feeling proud
One of my biggest fears is the dentist visit and my worst nightmare is having to lie flat, so when he said “you need a root canal filling and new crown we will book you a 1 hour 55 minute appointment” I was dreading it,having aspergillosis and
emphysema
coughing is quite a problem but after working out
