Could increasing my dosage cause pounding in the arteries in my head?
Hi, everyone. About a week ago the doc increased my dosage of Vyvanse, because I had mentioned to said doctor, that my boyfriend could not notice a difference in me on my usual dose, and for the fact that when i get home from work after the meds are mostly out of my system, I can't focus. So, one day

Vyvanse and Insurance issues.
Hi, I'm new to all of this but I was recommended to this site. I have been on an ongoing journey to finding the adhd medication that works best for me. After a few tries I finally found that in Vyvanse. After being on it for 2 months my insurance decided it was too expensive for them. All this time I

57 and given Vyvanse for something else
I'm 57 and my doctor prescribed Vyvanse for a neurological condition-not ADD. I have also struggled with severe depression my whole life. I've been on antidepressants for 45 years. I've been feeling pretty good depression-wise for a long time tho. Anyway, I started taking Vyvanse and I realize how I

Hi everyone I'm new around here. My daughter has adhd and is 7. She is medicated with vyvanse and has been in counseling services before. I myself am looking to get a grasp on adhd and answers as a parent after I had a school meeting and created a 504 for her. Great to meet everyone!

Looking for the light
I snap at times and end up yelling and feel awful. I called and made myself a counseling appointment because I am dealing with a lot of anxiety over what is happening with my son. He is in middle school and on 30 mg vyvanse and 1 mg intuniv. He starts to rebound right after school and we go through

Topiramate and the unlucky few
My experience on topamax last month was dreadful. I started the drug in January to help with migraines and within a day after taking it l, I started noticing I was getting extremely paranoid. Like, coworkers are trying to get me fired & wife is plotting stuff against me type of paranoid. It’s so strange

Meds affecting appetite
I’m considering switching my 14 year old from Vyvanse to something else that won’t affect his appetite as much. He plays sports and thought he was going to pass out during practice yesterday, and my guess is it’s because he hadn’t eaten all day. Anyone have any luck with a medicine that doesn’t curb

Recent Behaviour Changes
My son has been struggling with explosive behaviours at school for about 4 months now and we don’t know what to do. School has now pressured us to try medication. My son just started Vyvanse last week. Not sure what to do about the explosive behaviours at school. Will the medication help with this?

Vyvanse
I'm new here and just wanted to ask for some guidance. Anyone has experience with their child taking Vyvanse for ADHD and ODD. Any strange side effects I should be worried about? This is our 3rd medication trial as Ritalin and Adderall worked for a while but then stop working.

Vyvanse + Talking too much
Any of you guys have this issue? I've had to apologize to coworkers recently. What's strange is that before Vyvanse, I wasn't necessarily the most introverted person, but I definitely had my social anxiety issues where I was never quite sure how to cut off conversations so I often cut them off prematurely

Lab Results: Amphetamines Skewing Results?
I will be following up with the Endocrinologist tomorrow, it will be our second meeting. In our first meeting he was unsure if I have a thyroid problems but suspected adult growth hormone deficiency. I shared an article on how GH deficiency can mask subclinical/mild Central hypothyroidism and was hoping

Brain Fog with Vyvanse
I am 41 and have been diagnosed as Adhd w/o the hyperactivity. I also have general anxiety disorder and take Welbutrin. I have recently been prescribed Vyvanse and have been on it for 14 days. The brain fog is driving me nuts! It starts about an hour after I take it and lasts all day. I have tried

Issues with eating
I'm a 21 year old male. I have been eating once at lunch time after fasting for 2 days and taking diet pills for a few weeks now. I've lost about 30lbs. My friends have expressed some concern that my eating habits are unhealthy. Honestly I've never felt better, except for the occasional stomach pain.

Guilt for asking for ADD medication
Hi, I'm Anna and I'm new here, So later today, I have an appointment with my college psychiatrist to see about getting medication for my ADD. She's prescribed me Lexapro for my depression, but I don't know her that well. I need some advice on how to bring up that I want to get on ADD meds. I'm so afraid

Frustrated, anxious and a I've become a pushover!!
My son who just turned 14, has inattention ADHD, officially diagnosed a year ago. Started 8th grade this year at a rigorous charter school. Was homeschooled before that for 2 years, it was successful. From K-5, went to small private school and excelled. This 8th grade year has been the most challenging
