Questions about medical terminology

Hello you knowledgeable lot!! Can anybody help me out with this?

I will be asking my GP and cardiologist but getting through to them is like winning the golden ticket so I wondered if any of you had heard of these terms!

I had a 12 lead ECG and I’ve had a letter saying it shows sinus rhythm (fabulous) with non-conducted super ventricular extrasystoles that occur irregularly!! So what on earth does that mean?

Also I have left axis deviation which according to Dr Google is not a good sign so it’s really stressing me out!! Although I didn’t really understand what it means!!

The cardiologist said he was happy for my GP to take over my care unless I needed further treatment if the episodes bother me more so I saw that as a good sign but am now worried about the ECG results!

I have an echo booked on 5th May so am hoping I can find out if my heart is structurally okay then.

You get ectopic beats. Relax.

If you want a good explanatory video on ectopic beats then Secondtry posted an excellent one very recently. Understanding expels fear.

Atrial Ectopic beats which aren’t transmitted to the ventricles = non-conducted = go nowhere, supra ventricular = above the ventricles, extrasystoles =extra beats.

Left axis deviation = the route and angles the extra electrical activity goes.
