Update: Carbo/Etoposide for Dad’s Liver Mets
My dad has his 6th round of Carbo/Etoposide next week. The last 2 rounds have been very difficult on my dad. We thought he was lucky in the beginning as the side effects were manageable and attributed it to my dad being young and previously very active. It’s definitely true that chemo is cumulative.

Unlocking the Maze of B Complexes: A Handy List for Safe Dosages and Bioactive Vitamins
It can be quite challenging to find reliable B-complex supplements that are safe in terms of dosage. Additionally, it is advisable to opt for bioactive vitamins for added safety. To help each other out, I have started compiling a list categorized into low, medium, and high dosages of B6 and B9, which

Fatigue
Good Day Everyone My question is, should I be feeling fatigued with lymphocytes around 43 and haemoglobin at 12.1 g/dl or could the fatigue be caused by some other blood deficiency such as iron or vitamin B12. Thanks very much Ken

mCRPC- What is double negative prostate cancer along with the other 4 subtypes.
In research trying to understand my PSMA-negative FDG-positive current scenario I've come across some interesting articles that I thought I'd share with the group. I'm consulting with a new MO on Wednesday and I'm hoping she can shed some light on my progression. This paper came out 2 weeks ago- it's

Does pred cause gastritis?
Diagnosed August 22, 2022 with PMR. Started at 40 mg pred now down to 16.25. This week extreme upper stomach pain no matter when or what I eat. Trying bland diet. Not helping much. Had some explosive diarrhea. No fun. is this caused by pred? bless for being there. This is a lonely condition.

Update re: Gallbladder issue.
I am having my gall bladder removed on the 9th any advice or tips on recovery would be very welcome. Backstory is that I have had intermittent issues for several years. Mentioned to my GP (Male) who to be honest did not seem very interested in my symptoms, was given PPI for "indigestion" as blood

New diagnosis of IBD
Hi all, I was told I had IBS and I have been back and forth with the doctors for a few years now. I’ve been again recently and the Dr said that tests had come back abnormal and that we were actually looking at IBD. She said the referral time is unfortunately quite long but I’m now going to be seen

Cancer Center Keeps Making Errors that make my application for a Medical Marijuana card get denied
I am so frustrated! My second application for a MMC was denied as the Physicians License # was in error. The first one was denied because their phone number was not included. This is just crazy! I've written a letter about that to them and will be giving it to either my onc or the NP that I see

Thanks to everybody who responded to my recent post about a colonoscopy cancelled at the last second because I had earlier gone into AF. Thought I would finish it with an update. Received letter today from surgical consultant who basically stated that the colonoscopy had not been necessary because

What vitamin supplements to take alongside B12 injections?
Hi all - I'm currently on monthly injections for PA but still feel tired every morning even after a good nights sleep; low energy days; trouble focusing etc - sure you'll all be familiar with the symptoms! I've had several further blood tests and vitamin D and iron deficiencies have been identified

Treatment wait length- Public Health System Ireland
Hi all, I'm waiting on a scan appointment for suspected Ovarian Cyst and I'm in a lot of pain. I'm paying for it myself as I don't have health insurance and my consultant said I could be waiting 3 months on the Public Health waiting list. My mom had a 1kg cyst removed a few years ago and full hysterectomy

Blood test
Had both Covid and flu jabs yesterday. Lipase blood test due today. I've been searching to see if it's wise. Leave it 48 hours is all I can see after a long search. Any advice if you've been in that position. I didn't do my weekly Benipali jab yesterday . My RA is in remission but sadly attacked my Pancreas
