Beast is Back
Three weeks after my fourth ablation, and advised to drop flecainide, the beast returned. (Kept on metoprolol & Xarelto). Started after an afternoon nap for no reason at all. Confirmed by nurse with ecg yesterday and put back on flecainide until appointment on Monday with ep and another ecg. I’m hoping

Chest pain in one spot off and on.
I have panic disorder for 26 years and he lately I’ve been to 3 different ERS and the do ekg x ray and blood test for the hart. Everything comes back perfect. Nothing out normal bp is good. But still dealing with this. I got a stress test ordered for may 2. But they seem to think I’m wasting my time.

Questions about medical terminology
Hello you knowledgeable lot!! Can anybody help me out with this? I will be asking my GP and cardiologist but getting through to them is like winning the golden ticket so I wondered if any of you had heard of these terms! First appointment with arrhythmia service.
Hello. I’m 7 wks into my AF journey, having had an episode early March and new to the forum. I’m trying to learn as much as I can. When experiencing my episode where I was tachycardic and diagnosed from ECG with AF , I was discharged on the same day with bisuprolol 2.5 and rivoroxaban 20 mgs daily.

Can't sleep 😢
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not, and apologies if not. But I had a hurriedly fitted pacemaker on 1/2/22. Took a bit of getting my head around as I'd been to the doctors regarding near faint episodes over the last three years, my heart issues were never captured on an ecg and so I was

Coming off Bisoprolol - anxiety or withdrawal?
Hello :-). I posted a few months ago about tapering off of Bisoprolol. my brief story, I'm 46 and female. ended up in hospital after SVT (first time I've ever had an episode) and put on Bisoprolol 1.25mg. I've since seen a cardiologist and had tests, 2 week holter, ECG, echo and all show normal

B12 blood test private
Hi❤️ I'm having a good look through my blood results after reading some posts regarding B12.. My surgery are unwilling to test vitamin and minerals along with thyroid 😠 but I've looked through my last 2 years of print outs and I've never had my B12 done🤷♀️ I know it will be futile asking my surgery

Do I need to be checked out
Hi I had an AF episode a week ago and then went into fast Sinus with a heart beat of 140. 6 days later I went into Kings for a routine endoscopy for my 3 yearly verecies check for my liver cirrhosis. My heart was still tackicardic. First they could not get the camera down my throat due to severe swallowing

Help - aortic regurgitation and tinnitus
Hi. Really looking for help. I’ve developed pulsatile tinnitus due to aortic regurgitation.m (severe). Really struggling with sleep as my body and ear feel my heart beat. Anything I can do. I’ve not even met the surgeon yet but it’s debilitating. My latest ECG also shows left ventricle strain

The Queen has a Fistula la la la la
I tried to give it a musical sound with the extra la la la because it does feel like something sorta musical. Had fistula surgery last week. Wheeled in around 7am woke up at 10. It's amazing how they can take you out so quickly and bring you back. Do what needs to be done and return you to this world

What is the difference between bisoprolol and verapamil?
Hi all, a week ago I finally got to see a cardiologist after many admissions to a+e spaced over 2 years. I informed him that I had stopped taking bisoprolol two weeks previously because it severely impacted my ability to exercise, which really got me down. While off the bisoprolol my exercise levels

Enough already. I can't take this anymore.
For those who don't know my story, I was recently hospitalized, ive done it all. ECT, TMS, DBT, CBT. I see my therapist twice a week my psychiatrist once/week. I've had suicidal ideation for a long time. I'm on trintellix and have been trying to find the right dose to no avail. My marriage is breaking

From mild to severe in a year 🤷🏻♀️
So I went to cardiac exercise test 3 weeks ago now, ordered because of describing symptoms while in gym class and exercise eg. chest pain and SOB. Got to the test and hooked up to ecg. The consultants reviewed my images from A YEAR and HALF AGO: My last echo and cardiac MRI... They aborted the exercise

Anyone else tried it!
Had an appointment with Arrythmia nurse today. In AF when I arrived and picked up on ecg twice. My episodes are getting closer together and Flecainide at 100 x2 is no longer holding them. I am wondering if slowly weaning myself off it and going permanent will be a better bet. All thoughts gratefully

Atrial Fibrillation Vs Atrial Flutter
Just out of interest does anyone have knowledge that can explain to me - I’ve had AF for years and had ablations and now awaiting CV - was admitted to A&E last week and they told me the ECG looked like AFlutter (when usually it’s fibrillation) - what’s the difference, is one worse than the other is treatment
