Feel like I’m passing out
Going back to Doc next week, recent
echocardiogram
was fine. Has anyone else had this? It’s very scary.

Pericardial effusion
During investigation a chest x-ray showed an enlarged heart so an
echocardiogram
was arranged that showed a large amount of fluid around my heart. A drain was arranged which I had 3 weeks ago and I had approx 2 litres of fluid drained.

Myopericarditis - rest time/recovery
Hi all, I was diagnosed two weeks ago with myopericarditis - went to A&E with (very mild) chest pains and had an abnormal ECG (T wave inversion), high troponins and neutropenia so was admitted, given an angiogram/
echocardiogram
but both were clear so discharged after a few days with antibiotics, NSAIDs

Severe chest pain almost daily
My
echocardiogram
and EKGs all came back good too. This isn't anxiety or panic chest pain. I have had that before this is different.

My thoracic back MRI recently showed my heart to be enlarged.
I had a pre-surgical
echocardiogram
and stress test done prior to my cervical Fusion and Total Knee Replacement and everything looked fine. I'll see my rheumy and my cardiologist in the next two weeks. Has anyone else here experienced rapid heart changes shortly after your diagnosis?

Possible Pulmonary hypertension
I am very concerned as the condition showed on a routine
Echocardiogram
. I called for previous one after elbow surgery taken last year at hospital in my former residence and they said it was "normal" but I saw the reading and it appeared to be mild, but no one told me.

Waiting
Had
echocardiogram
. My doctor said I have an enlargement on the left side of my heart .with no explanation am still waiting to see cardiologist. This group has helped me so much as there is always someone worse of and with similar conditions and has made the waiting bearable. Thankyou .

No info on 'severely dilated left atrium' .
Then 7 day ECG & got a copied letter to my GP saying the Doppler
echocardiogram
showed Severely Dilated Left Atrium . No explanation of this on the BHF website . What are the symptoms , is it dangerous/progressive , what next ?

Dobutamine stress echocardiogram
Hi friends, i have an appointment for one of these tests soon, and i am worried. Is it straight forward, and how do you feel? I had a cardio stress test on the treadmill recently which was awful, i couldnt breathe and felt dreadful. Heart was pounding. Any reassurance would be appreciated, thank you

Update to cardiologist visit.
Had an earlier appointment with my cardiologist yesterday,
echocardiogram
. Another ECG . Upshot of it is, he wants to do more investigations. Was given the option of invasive test or another
echocardiogram
and a nuclear scan. Being the hero I am, I opted for the latter.

Mitral Valve Issue
Obviously I am no doctor but I would have thought he should have something like an
echocardiogram
every year or two?

Had an
echocardiogram
and 3 day holter monitor which showed my heart muscle and valve are ok but episodes of fast irregular heart rate and some SVT’s. I am now trying to gather info to get a better understanding of the condition.

GP sent me to A&E resulting in a,6 day stay in hospital, after CT scan, dollar scan on arm &
echocardiogram
it was determined I had a blood clot in my lower arm caused by my AF , even though had been taking Pradaxa at max dose for 4yrs!

I’ve had
echocardiogram
, stress test, holt monitor. All results were pretty normal except for the holt showing the PVC’s and occasional tachycardia / bradycardia. My question is...what does my future hold? Will this get worse? What can I do to prolong my life?

Thought it was menopause
Hi everyone recently diagnosed with PAF (March 2018) started to feel under the weather about 8 months ago drained tired heart flutters and hot sweats picked up every illness (work in school). To be honest thought it was the menopause went to doctor as finally affecting my work. Had raft of tests and

Regurgitating valves
Hi there I recently had an
echocardiogram
. I then went to my cardiologist appointment and he said to me ‘your results are all clear it looks good’. Today, I was at my G.P. and I asked to see my results, so he printed them for me. I have mild mitral, aortic and triscupid regurgitation.
