Scans
I mentioned that I had the
Echocardiogram
and she had the results on that one. She opened it up as she had not looked at it as yet! She asked me if I had been born with a hole in my heart??? They think I only have two branches on my aorta not three.

What does angina feel like?
Hi, am new on this forum. Have just been diagnosed with angina at specialist heart hospital after ECG, echo cardiogram and most recently stress echo cardiogram. Was a bit of a shock as I don't have any chest pain. Awaiting angiogram. Initially went to GP as feeling very breathless. Sometimes in cold

Coming Off Statins - Update July 31, 2018
I recently saw my cardiologist who performed an examination and provided an assessment of my last
echocardiogram
completed in October 2017. He said my Left ventrical size and Ejection Fraction of 57% indicated a heart that is operating normally.

Hi only joined on Monday evening after having my stress echo cardiogram. Outcome wasn't what I was expecting. During the echo our hearts are scanned in 17 sections; two sections of mine whilst under stress aren't working properly: they're slowing down. I have now been put on the cardiac waiting list

Chest pressure on Armour
I also saw a cardiologist and had a stress test, EKG and
echocardiogram
due to the chest pain I felt at that time. Everything was normal. Cardiologist said my heart was in great shape. The chest pain eventually went away.

Had my
Echocardiogram
last Wednesday, my god wasn't it painful. I was glad when it was finished. They also want my GP to tiltrate my Beta-Blocker and give me a long lasting nitrate. Have finally got an appointment with my GP next Wednesday, after being told she was fully booked until September.

Cardiomyopathy
I had an ecg &
echocardiogram
amongst other tests and he asked me lots of questions and looked at my most recent mri that I got my diagnosis from. He thinks that I may not even have cardiomyopathy and that I look like my heart function has improved and I have only been on meds for 2mths max.

How do I know whether my symptoms are lupus related?
The routine chest x-Ray he sent me for showed a slight enlargement of my heart but as the
echocardiogram
I had in December had shown valves etc working normally, he has brought my follow-up appointment forward from 6 months to three so will be seeing him in September.

I'm new. Spouse of Mechanical heart valve replacement MAVR May 2018 & all going well
Put this down to age (60yrs) until
echocardiogram
technician said you will very likely need surgery with these results! I think the first three weeks are the worst and then things start to improve.

I'm seeing a cardiologist who has ordered an

What do I do now?
I had 24 hour ECG and
Echocardiogram
which showed I am now in Persistent AF and have a severely dilated left atrium. He just put me on digoxin, didn't get back to me and just sent letters to my doctor saying only that I didn't have a follow up.

Heart failure
I’m at a loss, as my first implant had complications, and the thought of having wires removed fills me with horror, As I’m home now, they did not do an
echocardiogram
, I have to go back for that I had no advice on what I can do and should avoid, my meds changed somewhat Having doubled BP meds, and

No proper diagnosis of heart condition.
A few months back I went for an
echocardiogram
. I then received a letter to see the Cardiologist who said I might have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. The cardiologist then referred for an MRI scan.
