TOE echocardiogram
Will probably need a TOE
echocardiogram
and possible repair or replacement surgery. My only symptoms I can feel are slight AF occasionally but he said this will get worse. Can anyone here reassure me about either the procedure or the surgery.

Next, had an
echocardiogram
and it was perfect. I’ve had a million EKGs and they never catch them. Neither did an event monitor I wore for 30 days. I think it’s because I wasn’t quick enough to record them.

Anyone had an Echo report that says 'not well visualized'?
Just wondering if anyone has had an
echocardiogram
report that says 'not well visualized' on certain parts of it? Did they want you to have the echo repeated again? Or did they suggest some other kind of scan instead? Thank you!

My yearly visit to the Arrhythmia Clinic
I was told that in this instance as the
echocardiogram
had revealed no significant problems with my heart, I was taking an anticoagulant, the episodes were not too frequent or long, I had lost weight and made lifestyle changes, my P-AF seems stable, I should be ok to carry on as I am .

What is aortic restriction with gradient approaching 50 mmHg?
After an
echocardiogram
a letter was sent to my GP, copy to me, in which it says my metal aortic valve (now 14 years old) shows aortic restriction with gradient approaching 50 mmHg. Can anyone advise me whether this is mild, moderate or severe stenosis please? Thank you for your help.

Delicate question
Straight after they’d finished the did quite a brutal
echocardiogram
because they were a bit concerned as they’d been messing around in there for best part of 4 hours, 2 wires at the same time, and want to check I hadn’t sprung any leaks (oh, NOW you’re worried!

Just a quick question re-echocardiogram
Was referred to have one after an ecg showed irregular heart beat and pulse. All this coming about as I need an operation to remove cancer in its early stages. The test took place and I have no idea of the result but at the end the technician ran the transponder up the side of the throat. Is this normal

After the operation for ascending aorta replacement
On the Saturday, I went for an ECG and
echocardiogram
. My wound sites (sternum, groin and two drains on my chest) were frequently checked. On the Sunday, i met with the doctors who gave me a rather large bag of medication plus schedule and I was discharged and home. Sadly, it didn’t end there.

Worried a bit about cardiologist appt
In the meantime she had me go for a
echocardiogram
and ran EKG when I was in her office. Echo was basically good she told me. She did another EKG and she didnt like the additional beats. She recommended I go see a cardiologist. I made the appt and it took a few months and I see her on Tuesday.

He’d put me on the list for a Cardioversion and had said ‘about 4/6 month wait’ and told me to book a follow up with him and an
echocardiogram
. I walked out of his room miserably to the reception.... Then the woman said June is the earliest she had for

Ignorance!
Did not get an
echocardiogram
done until 28 May. Referred to hospital with severe LA dilatation. Had to wait until today 2 July to ring them for an appointment only to be told it would be in the New Year! (2020). My brother died 4 years ago with severe cardiomyopathy only 4 months after diagnosis.

"Slave to the rhythm" - again!
My EP referred me back to the NHS for
Echocardiogram
and Halter monitor. These results have just confirmed a significantly dilated left atrium (which I knew about) and moderately leaky mitral valve. I was surprised to hear the latter. The monitor confirmed persistent AF with HBs of 63 and 130.
