Dyslexia

I was diagnosed with ADHD, Learning Disability, and slightly Dyslexia at the age of 6. I can't wait to make new friends!!!!

Good day My son was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia in March and I dont know how to help him. He constantly throws tantrums, crying, struggling in school etc. The dr did put him on medication but it dos not seem to be working. We are new to all this is there any advice out there please

I’m just concerned that while displaying the characteristics of dyslexia in reading & writing etc she does not experience the classic symptoms - blurred vision, words moving, headaches. It’s more her comprehension of what she’s reading. She gets 10/10 on her spellings most weeks.

my child is 8 years old and diagnosed with Adhd, anxiety and dyslexia. Every single time he takes a test and does not get to finish he goes insane in classroom.

There is a school here in town that specializes in children with ADHD/ Autism, dyslexia, etc and it’s a private school but it’s $1300/month. I received an email stating there was availability for him for the fall and i don’t know what to do.

The principle behind colored overlays for dyslexia is the same as the colorimetry test used by optometrists and very similar to the Meares Irlen's test.

Please also comment if your kid has dysgraphia/dyslexia and if the program has helped them or not. I'm considering trying this for my 7th grade daughter. Thanks!

He does also have Developmental Dyspraxia, Adhd, Dyslexia, Delayed Processing, ASDc

Hi, I am a mom of a 13yr old boy with ADHD and Dyslexia. He won't talk with anyone he doesn't know. We struggle with him deodorizing. We really struggle with getting him to do schoolwork. He attends online school. He gets 1 on 1 help twice a week.

Sorry if wrong spelling I have dyslexia, I did try NDT through a friend about 10 years ago and it really made a difference for a few years. I would like some advice on obtaining NDT again as I am sick of feeling ill.

Should I be concerned this may be something else besides his ADHD or Dyslexia? I just googled it and can't seem to find this exact behavior in speech anywhere.

Hi there,I have had oab since 2007 and the Miribegron isnt working ive just had 2 bladder infections and i have an indwelling catheter also. I am making lots of urine at night sometimes 3 bags its too much urine to make for anyone. Anyone else like this its awfull. Sparklebright62

our daughter is 8 and was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. She actually does well at school and gets good grades and at her parent teacher conference her teacher voiced no concerns. Our issue is that she’s really oppositional at home.

Mom to a 7 year old with adhd and dyslexia. He's a sweet and energetic guy who has increasingly become more reactive/aggressive at home and it was becoming pretty unlivable in family life. We started 1 MG of guafacine a week ago.

Our son who is 9.5, with ADHD and dyslexia, has had different tics on and off. I never would have called them tics but recently they seem more severe at times and he attempted to explain them to me tonight: Through tears, he said his body just wants to keep doing certain things.
