there are certain font types that work better with people who have dyslexia. Many library apps have these fonts available so that he can read books that are assigned. Also, ask for an IEP evaluation in writing to teacher and principal. He will be able to request so he will have access to special fonts and more time to do assignments.
One thing I have found is that the medication does take a little bit to work but there is also other help needed to provide the children to help with their self regulation. It is something that my child struggles. We have her in therapy and we are working with her to assist this.
