Problems with Flovent
My doctor prescribed Flovent for me last spring. The first inhaler worked the way it was supposed to. I started having trouble with the second one. It would work for a while and then it wouldn't. My pharmacist said to clean it by removing the cannister and rinsing the applicator in warm water. That

ADHD and Asthma Medication
Hi Everyone, I have a question about asthma medication. My son started taking Qvar last November because his insurance would no longer cover Flovent. In January or February of last year, his ADHD symptoms (ie, outbursts and aggressive behavior) started to show up. Just by chance, I was researching

Flovent questions
Hi guys I'm new here. I have a few questions. Do any of you take Flovent and experience heart palpitations from it? How long do they last? What do your docs say abt it? I experience them every single time I take it and immediately.. docs say they've never heard of such and it's not a problem, just

Throat problems ... from medication?
I have copd. I am on oxygen 24/7. I take Spiriva first in the morning. I rinse and then gargle very well with water after. I have been on Spiriva for a number of years and it never caused me any problem. Then the doctor added Flovent to my med schedule. An hour or two after taking Spiriva I take 2 puffs

Rapid heart rate
Hi everyone 😊 I was just put on Advair which my insurance would not cover. I took the alternative of taking 220mcg Flovent ( corticosteroid) and 50mcg Severent ( salmeterol). These meds made a miraculous positive difference, was using rescue inhaler several times a day, now only 1- 2 times. PFT shows

Follow directions when using your inhaler for better outcome
Good morning all - I was recently diagnosed with stage 1 COPD. My pulmonary doctor put me on a Flovent inhaler to be used twice a day - 2 puffs in the morning and 2 puffs 12 hours later. I went to the Flovent site on my computer and was surprised to learn that I was using my inhaler wrong the first

Nasal Sprays?
Hello - I am fairly new to COPD, but I suspect I've had it for a few years at least. I see a pumonologist and an allergy doctor. The allergist has me on Singulair and Flonase nasal spray. (He does not know I have COPD yet, but I will see him again in April - in time for my brutal Spring allergies.

Asthma
I was prescribed Flovent for my asthma because it has no to little effect on the heart. It is how ever a steroid. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thank you. Still hopeful.

Does it ever get better?
I am a 46 year old female that was diagnosed with asthma 4 years ago even though probably always had a very mild case looking back. Things blew up in the fall that year being exhausted with three young kids and have never been the same except for a glorious remission of symptoms for an 8 month period

Hello
I'm a 54 yr old female and I've had asthma since birth. Now for the past I don't know how many years, I've been on ProAir HFA, Flovent, Foradil, and spiriva. It worked great. But foradil went bye-bye. So I just went to a new lung dr. and now things are not good! I tried Breo with a LOT of breathing

Flovent Users
Does anyone use Flovent? I am trying to determine the cause of shortness of breath that I have been having the past couple of months. Started Flovent in April and this has been going on since May. Just wondered if there were others that had any problems with it. Thanks

My Experience of Deafness.
I suppose it must be over a year now. After a virus / cold or some such thing I found that my hearing had suddenly deteriorated such that I was unable hear most conversations, most television programmes unless the volume was high enough to render the whole household deaf. I couldn't hear the mobile

Obsessing over breathing
I'm breathing treated for my bronchitis. I've had inflammation for the past 4 months and I just started a steroid yesterday. Also taking flovent and albuterol for my asthma. My nose has been really dry and it gets me anxious cause makes me feel like I can't breathe right then my heart rate goes up!

Costochondritis and bronchitis
I get bronchitis every year when it gets cold out. I have a cough that persists for weeks at a time and I also have a mild to moderate form of asthma. I have been coughing a lot and my chest is burning. I also have costochondritis. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I use voltaren gel for the costochondritis

Lung overinflation
So I went to the Pulmo a couple days ago and had full PFT's. I posted here a couple times prior. Anyway, my FEV/FVC was 69, then to 71 post Albuterol. So not much change. FEV1 105%, maybe 108 post. Again not much change. Airway resistance normal. DLCO normal. But my lung volumes not. TLC, RV, TLC/RV
