Yo team - It’s funny reading back at my old messages and realizing that I was bloody naive and thought I’d cracked it. I realized i hadn’t beat my addiction when work suddenly became very quiet and all I was left with was my addict, and you guessed it, my mind twisted it’s way around to making me think

Day 80 and vigilant
I’ve been a part of this quit nicotine cycle for years! After 35 years of puffing away for all reasons, when I was sad, happy, joyful, excited any emotion really, I smoked! I also hated smoking! The love hate that was strong! I’ve made the break even though I’m one of the ones that go through crap to

Quit smoking 2 days ago
Hi all, I found out I am pregnant 2 days ago and stopped smoking immediately (I don’t know how many weeks I am yet). With all the hormones and withdrawal from nicotine it’s so hard. It sounds silly, but I can’t stop crying and feel so sensitive. Does anyone have any tips to help? I booked in for hypnotherapy

hi I am new to this group so hope I do okay. I woke up one sat. morning and in my sleep I lost the use of one leg and my hand I got an ambulance and spent the next 12 days in a stroke unit. Issues after quitting smoking
Hi Guys, I quit smoking around 4 months ago but have had Shortness of breath and a tight chest. Had all tests come back clear and the Doctor does not think that I have anxiety either. He also does not seem to know much about what happens to the body after we quit smoking? When did anyone have any relief

The Safety of Being a Social Smoker

Giving up the NRT
After the bad experience with the nicotine patches, feeling jittery and sick, I removed it half way through day one and decided to use only the inhalator. I only used that yesterday in the morning and after my evening meal. But it was the worst night sleep ever. I normally sleep through every night.

OMG 😮
Oh my that was a super hard start to the day....... but just about to go into work and with the help of the inhalator I’ve balanced the mood out. Struggles like this are certainly a trial but keep smelling my hands, hair and clothes and it’s a lovely reminder that it’s good to rid of the horrible smell

Trying to kick nicotine for good! The final boss: vaping 55mg nic salts
hi! I'm new to this, about 2 hours and 45 minutes into my quit and I could really use some support right now. I'm trying to stop vaping nicotine salt solution at a 55mg/ml concentration. I don't know if they have those in the UK. it's very powerful and I would vape it from the minute I opened my eyes

I started smoking after quitting 5 years ago
I quit 5 years ago. And I was so proud of myself. Then in April this year my elderly mother died and then 6 days later my brother took his own life. I have bipolar and after the 2 funerals I was sectioned and kept in hospital for 11 and a half weeks. I was so stressed out in the hospital environment

Quit for 48 hours then panicked having a hard time getting motivated again
Less than 3 days ago I had my first surgery. It went well no complications. Got diagnosed with a chronic condition endometriosis 😥 but I was expecting that. I quit smoking 8 hours before and made it 48 hours then just panicked. I don't even know what I was panicking about. I just completely lost it

How to Stop Smoking
Quitting smoking is not an easy task, but it is doable and with time invested, it can become easy to maintain a smoke-free lifestyle. I know that is hard to believe if you're still smoking, but with education and support, it can be the truth for you, just as it has been for others who have quit smoking
