ANGINA WORSENING??
Hello everyone. Feeling more tightness in chest since weather cooling. Can exercise no problem whatsoever. Take GTN spray and do feel better once I take but was wondering whether I need to be on other medications if i have to take my spray daily when it's cold outside?

Trying to help my father (CKD) patient
I read a lot of posts in the past few days and I have learned so much more about CKD. My father is a CKD patient for over 3 years. His stages keeps fluctuating between stage 2 and stage 3. My major concern today is his acidity, gastric ulcers and bleeding issues. Moment he stops taking his medications

So sorry for the delay! Cardiff HM report
Best laid plans to write during the week git away from me sorry. Here is my very delayed Cardiff HM report. Sorry also for all the exclamation marks! It had been a grotty week weather wise with talk of a hurricane. But the day opened bright and clear. Up at 7 and peanut butter on toast and a fizz stick

Taking Imodium Daily
Has anyone done a daily regimen taking Imodium in the morning and the evening? 1 or 2? This is the most frustrating ailment I've ever dealt with. I would love to feel like I was "in control".

Anyone else had a similar situation?
I've been in part time hell since may the 3rd when I took three liquid shots of Flucloaxillin for a skin infection. Within 12 hours my guts were angry and ever since I have spent 90% of this year with gas, intestinal noise, cramps and d*. May-June was horrific, no matter what I ate made my guts aggravated

What is energy?
This page on the British Nutrition Foundation website was mentioned here recently. It encapsulates almost every incorrect belief in mainstream nutrition, and I thought it would be instructive to pull it apart: https://www.nutrition.org.uk/healthyliving/basics/what-is-energy.html I do realise, incidentally

Born with one functioning kidney, I'm a 58 year old male. In January my gfr was down to 38 and creat up to 1.86. So my PCP referred me to a nephrologist for the first time. Since January, I've educated myself on how much sodium I was consuming without realizing it. So now my blood test results last

Pain in fingers and toes (and still low energy) - blood test results
Hi everyone, I posted recently because my fingers and toes have been really painful for the last few months. I went to the doctors and she said that osteoarthritis which I have in my hand has spread to all my fingers and toes. Thank you everyone who has given me great advice! In my appointment I asked

Now going into clinical trials for specific types of cancer, Alpha Tau’s technology shows potential for treating any solid tumor.
Nalakrats posted about this company earlier this year. I wonder what the difference is between Radium 224, which Alpha Tau uses, vs. Radium 223, Xofigo? -or maybe they're using radium 224 instead of 223 due to patent issues?? I also recall seeing a clinical trial, I think in NY?, using Radium 223

Should I have a flu jab?
Diagnosed with Coronary Artery Spasm in August last year and discharged by the cardio at that time. I’ve not seen anyone at all about it since and just have a GTN spray, but no other medication. BP is low normal, cholesterol is within acceptable limits so I guess I may not actually need any other medication

Need Advice-Bipolar Androgen Therapy
Looking for some feedback and advice from the amazing Warriors on this board. I wrote about the VERU-111 trial A few weeks ago. We went through the screening process and anxiously awaited the results only to find that my dad‘s blood was damaged in shipping. We had to go through the bloodwork again and

I'll never forget angina, nor the unexpectedness of its visitation.
In 1993 at the age of 57 I had an acute and prolonged onset of pain in my chest, unlike anything I had felt before, and quite impossible to ignore, while I was attending a meeting. Doctors were reluctant to diagnose it as anything to do with my heart. Diagnosed it as a muscular spasm. Later that year

Niggles after stent
Morning, I was diagnosed with angina back in early June. Sought a second opinion as I was essentially sent home with rampiril and a GTN spray. I ended up speeding up my very slow progress paying for a private angiogram. Cardiologist was sure I was fine and wanted to eliminate concerns. Shock for both

Folkestone HM Race Report - BRUTAL!
Driving home after the event, my friend and I decided to pick one word to describe completing this year's Folkestone Half Marathon. We agreed on BRUTAL. Here we go... The day dawned wet and windy. The night before there had been Facebook updates advising a course inspection was taking place at 7.30

New Here!
Even though I joined in May, it appears as though I didn’t introduce myself. I just turned 67 and found out I had something going on with my liver via a CT scan. I am a heart patient, in heart failure (with an artificial mitral valve, pacemaker and defibrillator). Diagnosed with heart problem when I

My daily drugs & drugish regimen
Metformin - 1,000mg time release - started this for pre-diabetes, it didn't seem to keep cancer from recurring OR maybe it kept the cancer from coming back worse - Metformin in cancer prevention and therapy Fenbendazole - 3x4gm weekly - Fenbendazole acts as a moderate microtubule destabilizing agent

Radium-223 treatment in CRPC & presence of Primary Tumor.
New Italian study. Only 44 men, but .... "The presence of the primary prostate tumor seems to play a detrimental role in mCRPC patients undergoing 223Ra treatment in absence of other concomitant anticancer therapy. On the other hand a previous RP might play a protective role." "Discussion" "Radium 223
