Angiogram clear, what next? Microvascular?
Firstly thank you to everyone who responded to my last post regarding going for my angiogram on Monday, all your input helped! I did question beforehand if I needed the procedure which was interpreted as a 'reluctance' to have it done and spoke to 2 consultants about it along with a nurse! Anyway, after

Minoca and still have chest pains
Newbie here. I had a MINOCO at the end of July, I had been getting chests pains for months. Nothing showed up except for troponin raised levels. My blood pressure is always low, I am not overweight, I don't smoke or drink, so I'm not on any medication, except for a 10mg statin, which I have just stopped

About 'good' oils for NASH and NAFLD
I haven't been officially diagnosed, but believe this is my issue and has been for some time. I am going to overhaul diet and do what I can.... but I have a question about oils. I know all veg canola etc must be avoided. High quality olive oil is on your list to take daily. What about coconut oil

Cirrhosis and dealing with salt & sugar cravings
Hello, I have (3 mths ago) been officially confirmed by fibroscan & ultrasound with F4 Cirrhosis. Unknown to me, or not taking liver disease seriously, I have had pretty bad liver problems for at least 6 years. To be honest, I am still trying to get my mind around it. A few months ago, I was quite

Today was a visit to the cardiologist. Two years ago I had 100% obstruction of the LAD, one of the major arteries feeding the heart. It was cleaned out then a stent put in. Lately I've had chest pain similar to the pain from the obstruction. But a recheck says the arteries are still wide

Where in the range (bloods) ought I be? How is the range determined?
A poster posted some blood results about a year ago, along with range applicable. Serum creatinine 89umol/l (45 - 90) Serum urea 7.7 mmol/l (2.5 - 7.8) Serum sodium 137mmol/l (133 - 146) Serum potassium 4.7mmol/l (3.5 - 5.3) GFR 62ml/min All the results are 'in range'. Anything out of the ordinary?
Hi all, sorry for the graphic picture first! Does this like anything out of the ordinary? I.e., would you say it’s bloody, normal or diarrhoea, etc. Had some specs of blood on tissue for around 6/8 weeks now and initially I thought it may be just a cut. Usually have two pretty big poops in the morning

How to Balance Low Sodium and Electrolyte Replacement During Exercise?
There are two nutrition segments who do not communicate much: low sodium diets and electrolyte replacement. I have seen a number of articles about "low sodium backpacking" and "low sodium backpacking meals." There are also many, many articles (likely driven by a lucrative market) on electrolyte replacement
