I have been put on Metolazone (Xaqua). I just wondered if anyone else have tried it and how they got on.

Diuretics
I have pretty severe edema in feet and occasionally legs.Is there a
diuretic
that does not trigger rls? I have tried Bumex and Metolazone. Had very bad rls soon after taking each one. I am on low dose Ropinirole -.9mg . It didn't even calm it. Appreciate any input.

co-amilofruse
We understand that co-amilofruse is a
diuretic
and will obviously cause him to urinate frequently. However, this is continuing all day and night, which wasn’t the case with furosemide, which tapered off after taking the tablet in the morning. Has anyone any advice/experience to offer?

Raised Blood Pressure on Nifidipine
I also take a
diuretic
. However my BP raised to averages of 137/85 with no change to diet or exercise. Going back to GP as we recognised when we switched that we needed to monitor. Anyone with experience on this matter?

which diuretic with prednisolone?
I posted a while ago about diuretics - thanks for the responses. Mum was put on furosemide which worked for the odema, but within a week had diarrhoea which meant it was stopped and we ended up with a bad uti with haemorrhage due to the diarrhoea…… It may have been the furosemide causing the diarrhoea

Continued Journey
On Friday after labs, kidney function was better so they added a
diuretic
for the edema and a preventative med for pneumonia. Overall things are progressing well. There are benchmarks to achieve but I'm looking forward to the future.

Does anyone take a diuretic to help with water retention?
Ive recently been prescribed a
