Diuretics can cause ED - but this isn't a forum you will find it discussed much as most people with PMR are female so I suggest you speak to your doctor. What is being discussed here is whether PREDNISOLONE, an antiinflammatory medication, can cause frequent urination.

It could be but in your shoes I would get my prostate checked out, you are in an “ at risk” age group and caught early it is easy to treat. Who knows what triggers these things. Waking up 5 - 6 times a night is really disruptive.

I used to due to fluid retention in the day. Reducing salt helped and reduction of dose. Get your heart and prostate checked too.

Some people find it makes them pee - others find it makes them retain fluid.

It has been shown to initiate diuresis and also increase the excretion of sodium through the kidneys.
