Living with heart failure
Hi I'm 47 and recently been diagnosed with

cardiomyopathy
and fast af. I've had to make a lot of changes to my life and feel quite low. I've recently had to move jobs due to the traveling and hours I feel I've been robbed of a place were I loved but feel so tired all the time.

Fatty liver
A recent blood test gave these results: AST48; ALT 43; GGTP 787. I've been over-drinking for a couple of months - job loss sent me into a depression. I haven't had a drink since I got this result (10 days), and the doctor says the damage is reversible: moderately fatty liver, no scarring, gall bladder

GGT level
I have recently abstained from drinking alcohol and find that I do not miss it. I have had a blood test to see if I have any problems. They came back clear, but I would like advise on my GGT level. My GGT result came back as, 35iu/L [<73.0] Please can anyone advise as whether this is good or bad?

As cites again
I have battled with ascites since diagnosis and was controlling with spirolactone and furosemide. However one doctor will take me off em because of kidney damage the next one along will put me back on them. If I don’t take spirolactone I fill with fluid within the week and need draining which is a pain

Itching in one part of the body a sign of liver disease?
I have a persistent itching sensation on the left side of my rib cage. Can this be a sign of liver disease? . I am very worried about this. All my liver function tests have been normal and I don't have jaundice, broken veins, etc For several years I felt I might be an alcoholic ....or on the verge of

Ozurdex Injection
Hi, I'm getting an ozurdex injection. I have had somewhere between 75-100 injections with Lucentis and now Eyelea. It usually takes 24 hours for my eyes to start feeling normal again. How much more does the Ozurdex hurt? And does it take longer to recover?

blood test of Liver Function Test report shows high reading of GGT! Should I worry...?
My current blood test of Liver Function Test report shows high reading of GGT: Gamma Glutamyl Transferase (GGT): 123.0 (Bio. Ref. Interval 0.0 - 55.0) Please let me know what does this high GGT mean and what medication/diet should I need to start to bring it down. Also, do I need to consult a doctor

New to all this
I have recently been diagnosed with
dilated
cardiomyopathy
which came as a shock since my brother died with the same condition six years ago aged 62. I am 70 and had not had any symptoms. Ironically shortly after receiving my diagnosis I began to feel some discomfort in my chest.
