Good, you stop drinking, I am going thru the same thing with a family member, He just had a GGT today, however, please the post that I wrote earlier today. How long has it been that you stop drinking? also, look at your ALT and other blood work.
my ggt levels are a bit higher than you. I have never drank alcohol but yet my ggt number is that of a severe alcoholic so figure that one.all my other liver numbers are normal. I have a smooth muscle antibody test come back positive. ive been severally ill and in pain throughout my entire body for 2 years while drs are trying to figure out why my liver and pancreas aren't working right. not much as in acities yet but I do get he and get dizzy and fall. I was told cause my liver isn't filtering anything right right now from fats to proteins and toxifying the blood which affects the muscles and brain. anyway a high ggt obviously is something wrong and should be checked and watched.
