Hi, anyone else here with a diagnosis of Nodular Regenerative Hyperplasia of Liver?
It would be good to hear from anyone else who is living with this condition. My partner was diagnosed after a massive bleed at home from oesophageal varices (that he was unaware he had!) 5 years ago. On admission to the emergency dept. of hospital, the blood loss and trauma to his body was so great that

Two months without Alcohol ALD diagnosed.
Well it's two months since a drop of alcohol has passed my lips, might have a drink tonight to celebrate, Elderflower and Rose hip cordial from M&S. Sat in a pub watching football with a glass of coke. It can be done and still can be social able. Joking apart I strong support anyone who has to go down

Dumbfounded by results of blood tests. New to this.
When I received shocking news about my blood test results, I found it hard to take in the information. I don't drink alcohol, so cannot understand what can be wrong with my liver. Does anyone know if prescribed medications can trigger the problem, and what does an ALT, GGT & LDH level that has tripled

Does anyone have problems with their eyes? I've had lupus and APS for over 30 years and never had any issues with my eyes till now.
Woke up just before Christmas with a slight blurring in my left eye which didn't go away. Ended up being diagnosed with choroidal neovascular membrane which is linked to wet macular degeneration. Eye specialist thinks this is as a result of lupus but at present my rheumatologist is unsure????

Fatty liver
Hi, recently after an ultrasound for a lump that was a lipoma, it was discovered that I have a fatty liver, due to excessive drinking over many years. I also had a blood test and the function which should be approx 30 was 95. I have been told to stop drinking, lose weight and return in January to see

FMS and Dilated Cardiomyopathy
I have had FMS for many years now and had come to terms with the changes this had made to my life...recently after having a cardiac arrest I was diagnosed having
cardiomyopathy
DCM (
Dilated
). I had an ICD fitted whilst I was in hospital because of the high risk of me having sudden death attacks.

Has anyone had a bad reaction to Spironolactone or experienced good results from furosemide?
I have cirrhosis due to childhood AIH, until quite recently I have managed to cope with the condition but have been told if my symptoms and acites get any worse I could be in need of a transplant. I am not responding too well to the diruetics and am feeling very anxious about the future. If anyone has
