Should I undergo Triplet therapy?
Was diagnosed with stage-4 prostrate cancer with metastasis to lymph nodes and bones in April 2024. PSA was 400 when diagnosed and it shot up to 700 in a month. Started with Lupron and Nubeqa. PSA has come down to 8 in 2 months. Next PSA test (after 3rd month) is tomorrow. My Oncologist wants to

AS or sext step(s) suggestions.
Solitary enhancing nodule left prostate bed. Neg PSMA PET x 3 over two year period. Visible on 3 MRIs. Size seems stable but slowly rising PSA. Current PSA 0.35. Considering Bx before RT decision vs continuing AS. If Bx may do another Decipher. Initial decipher 0.69 high risk. Robotic prostatectomy

Starting treatments
Had a setback due to being hospitalized in the ICU for a month and a half. Went to the Oncologist last week and about to start some aggressive treatment as I have a very aggressive prostate cancer. The oncologist on duty at the hospital had an MRI done to show where the metastasized bone cancer is located

post RO incontinence
Hi, I am a bit over a year post RP. (3/23/23) My 8 and 12 week PSA were .31 and .49. I started 8 weeks of radiation completed in 11/23. My question is to those who suffer from incontinence after 1 year of surgery. I have been to a specialist, and he requested I record how many pads I use per day. The

PSA 0,100
my Hubby had recently another PSA done to provide the Heidelberg Clinic info for the Proton Program. I just don’t understand those numbers, they keep changing, 3 months ago, it was from 0,05 to 0,07, now it shows 0,100. Are there different tests? I cannot find anything in the internet, I don’t know

PSMA scans-any update?
Saw this link this morning. Any update on this research or trials? Kinda describes my situation: after surgery and radiation PSA climbing. PSMA showed metastatic lymph nodes. Rather than watch and wait, they were radiated. PSA now seems to have dropped. Thanks. https://youtu.be/usXbPe_1YYc?si=cZB8L4YZ7y0w7qSJ

Dad’s 6 weekly psa shows a little rise compared to the one at 3 weeks - grateful for any thoughts.
Dad , 83 , was diagnosed in May with PSA 18 and bone mets as per PSMA scan. Initially the plan was to do lupron and he was started on bicalutamide 100 mg daily , which he took for 3 weeks uptil 7th June. But then we decided to go with relugolix and not lupron and the bicalutamide was stopped.

Does taking chemo upfront reduce chances of the cancer morphing into more aggressive variants in the future ?
My PSA at diagnosis was relatively low at 21 and scans showed multiple bone mets. My oncologist said that puts me at a greater risk of the cancer morphing Into a more aggressive one in the future compared to someone who had come with a psa of 400-500. Is this correct ? Would doing chemotherapy

4 month ADT holiday
I’ve been given 4 months ADT holiday with no treatment Then more blood tests to see how things are going. I was finding it hard to concentrate when reading as I was so tired. I’m already feeling more awake after 2 days of stopping Abiraterone and my balance seems to be improving. Doing some gym work

To PET or not to PET
I have been on nubeqa and orgovyx for over six months now. Blood draw this week shows my PSA level at <.10 beginning 30 days of starting those two drugs. My MO suggested I have a regular PET scan. No need for a PSMA scan because my PSA is basically undetectable. I am having trouble rationalizing the

PSA 1.175 Down from 21, 6 weeks ago. Is this good ?
After 6 weeks only on orgovyx my PSA has dropped to 1.175 from 21 and testosterone to 25 from 400. Are these numbers ok ? I read many here say their testosterone numbers are much lower - in single digits. Hence I am wondering if I should switch to Firmagon and see if they drop more. Do testosterone
